Sunday Morning by Rachel Joanis, Hobbry

I haven’t done a puzzle since I was a kid and I completely forgot how much I loved puzzling! I can’t wait to spend more of the colder months completing puzzles by the fireplace accompanied by a hot beverage ☺️☕️🍂🧩

Saw this in a thrift store. Thought about picking it up cos it's unique but I saw all that black and said "Nah"

This was so much fun! I don’t usually do puzzles as I don’t have the patience, but I bought this for my friend as a little gift. We enjoyed catching up while solving this puzzle and it took us about one hour. Highly recommend! And I’ll be buying ALL future mini puzzles for travelling. ✈️

The Demelsa Haughton puzzle alone makes this puzzle swap a win for me but I got few more good ones. The best part? I only picked up 6 puzzles after bringing in 20. I’m finally making progress in getting my collection to manageable number.

ETA: The Ravensburger If Fish Could Walk by DM is not sealed but the pieces smell new. Ravensburger Villainous Yzma is still sealed. Others are in great condition. Antelope Dog Park has missing piece (indicated in the box) but I picked it up because I’ve never tried this brand yet.

Had so much fun doing this one.
I just started puzzling as a hobby.
This is my fourth 1000pcs puzzle…

Finding Deadpool was wonderful / first Dowdle puzzle and from a free library exchange!

I'm guessing the autograph on the box is Rachel Joanis.

Nice artwork although I must admit, I don't know what season the first 3 represent.

The fit was nice and satisfying although I did get a couple of very good false fits but that might have been due to the lighting. Some pieces were already slightly de-laminated and made pieces pop up from the puzzle. Still, I was able to lift the whole puzzle after completion with no fear of puzzles coming out.

Taking apart was a chore. I de-laminated so many pieces taking this puzzle apart, even had the backing of one tab come off. I was thinking I would revisit this puzzle one day but after the experience of taking it apart, I want nothing to do with that idea. It's my first Hobbry made puzzle so not sure if they are all like this one but it turned me off from the brand.

I've found this one at the local flea market for €4. It was missing 2 pieces so I made custom ones.

My absolute favorite so far is this one: https://www.eurographicspuzzles.com/en/products/details/6000-6013

I was truly heartbroken when I finished assembling it; it felt like I would never find anything quite as good again. And, in truth, I haven’t—even though I’ve put together some really lovely puzzles since then.

At first, you might not fully grasp just how exciting this puzzle is, but the different seasons and the entire composition were, quite simply, a true paradise for me. The piece cut adds a nice layer of complexity—but not so much that it gives you a headache and steals the joy:)

Another great Trevell puzzle! I adore the illustration by Eor Glas Studio.

As always with this brand, the puzzle was high quality and came in a cloth bag. The soft-feel, matte pieces fit together well and sections can be easily moved around.

Just in time for Halloween. Shoutout to u/ThreepwoodMarley for sharing their autumn haul, as that's how I came to learn about this one.

I love a good cabinet puzzle, fell in love with the style after doing the Alchemist's Cabinet. This one was too cute to pass up and found it at Barnes and Noble.

I have mixed feelings about Flame Tree Publishing, because I'm not fond of their piece cut. A piece cut of only two in, two out feels wrong in 2026. It makes me less interested in trying out some images from them than I otherwise might be if their piece cut had more variety. With an image like this though, the piece shape doesn't bother me.

I didn't really do a big sort with this one. What I did was pull out the edge pieces, do those, and then pull one piece at a time and place it in the general area it would go. Any pieces that were largely wood or not more clearly part of an object I could quickly identify went into a miscellaneous pile.

I'd do that for a little bit, then take time to see what I could build with the pieces I had and slowly things came together. It was a nice way to do this one, rather than trying to sort everything first and then build.

It was a lot of fun, a nice and easy way to spend a couple of evenings. And a nice addition to what is hopefully a growing cabinet collection.

Saved this to do for the spookiest month of the year! 🎃 👻 🧛‍♂️

1,000 Pieces. Apparently from the 5 year Anniversary of Cars Land in 2017.

Cat tax included ☺️

This one was a birthday gift, it was fun even though I don’t gravitate towards Harry Potter stuff lately. First time ever I think that I’ve saved for last and fully shape sorted the edge pieces, but it was for the best since they’re like 90% the same.

I also got the puzzle box lid stand for my birthday which was a nice little addition to the overall experience.

I sent my partner to the puzzle swap and he came back with a beauty. I'd never choose 500 but I'm glad he did. Took 3 hours but I'm happy all the pieces were there. I love the quality of this brand and the matte, but I hate the size of each piece.

Was a tough one but I persevered 🥵

Hestair Puzzle, The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells, 1000 pieces

It comes up quite bright in the photo but in reality it was SO MUCH BROWN. I like colourful paintings rather than photos, but this had been in my stash for a while, it was given to me by my bf after his grandma died, from her stash.

I felt like I should at least see if it had all the pieces before I donate it.. it doesn't.

One of my fav brands! Awesome quality and fun images!
