Or United Airlines hitting a truck that hits you.

Thats like get a call to donate to White House Ballroom wealth.

Taxpayers are going to end up paying for that anyway.

Yup, and it's up to a billion dollars now...

Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if it was an additional 1 billion on top of the 430 million they previously stole from us to do this bs.

They already requested a billion on top of the donated money. The question now is how far over budget is it gonna go?

It’s such a sad waste of money.

One billion dollars could build 2,000 half-million dollar houses.. Or 4,000 quarter-million dollar houses…

A billion dollars could fund tuition for approximately 30,000-35,000 community college students to get 2 year degrees

One billion dollars could pay for an entire year of daycare for 67,000-100,000 US children

It’s cute you think it’s only a billion dollars…

Yes, but conservatives don't like hiring out to private companies for government events and prefer them to be held in government funded buildings /s

And they LOVE contracting their friends to do work. Cronyism to the max!

A good chunk of that is the bunker they're building under it. A ballroom doesn't cost that much even with contractors gouging.

Or United Airlines hitting a light pole that hits a truck that hits you.

With my luck I'd be hit by Spirit Airlines.

Still a possibility there has been a bunch of ex spirit aircraft flying to storage in Arizona and California.

u/Horskr preparing to transparently throw themselves in front of the nose gear as the aircraft taxis for the final time...

That would be pretty impressive considering they no longer exist

They just went out of the airline business, you're safe from them now.
