Had it a few times, it heavily depends on where you got it from. The supermarket one is ass, the restaurant ones are pretty good, but the best one you'll ever get is from a local who had this recipe in their family for ages and made it for you to try, fresh.

It's minced pork with a few spices, no one makes this at home.

You buy fresh mett, and some bread rolls, and onions. Maybe Butter the bread roll. Defenetly use peper and salt and if you want to go cracy some Maggi.

The few spices are salt and pepper.

Mostly yes, but there are multiple spices that can and are mixed under the minced meat.

Well then I must've dreamt about it /s

The guy who made it for my mother and I bought fresh meat from a butcher (obviously after clarifying that it's safe for this purpose) and minced it himself. Mixed it with spices and added onions.

Idk about you but it sounds pretty homemade to me.

Yeah never heard anyone mincing their own Mett, exspecialy because the machine at the butcher/Shop will do it better.

I genuinely wouldn't be able to tell a difference. All I'm saying is that homemade was pretty good. I'm not even German, so idk how common that is, but it's like the third time I've ever heard of someone making their own Mett.
