GOP in shambles.
Is this like when JR Smith didn't shoot the ball after he got it the rebound in that finals game and called a time out instead

You are absolutely right! This campaign was intended to buy ad space in Portland, Maine not Portland, Oregon. I mixed-up two cities in different states resulting in $25,000 being spent on ads that will have no impact on Senator Collins' re-election campaign.
My mistake resulted in PAC money being spent in a way that was not authorized and negatively impacted your ad firm's reputation. You are right to be upset.
To make sure this doesn't happen again, I have updated my topographical logs, refined my context, and improved my geographical reasoning.

You know what's the thing. SI will actually say things like updating topographical log, etc... but will do none of it. It's all just BS words

I can't believe Democrats keep losing to these idiots.

There's a cult of support for Susan Collins among alot of Maine moderates due to her seniority and her ability to bring money to Maine as the Chair of the Appropriations Committee.
Even with that, she only won by 3-4 points if the race got into RCV according to reporters who analyzed the results in 2024 instead of the nearly 9 point win
I think this is the cycle where she finally may lose but it's gonna be close either way. The environment is worse for Republicans than it is in 2020.

Super effective. No one who saw the ads will vote for Troy Jackson.

Rule VII: American Political Strategizing This submission is primarily about what U.S. political parties or candidates should do to “win voters,” improve polling, or change their messaging, without much focus on the underlying issues or policies. Threads that are mostly horse-race or campaign-tactics discussion are considered off-topic here.
If you’d like to repost, please focus more on the substance (e.g. specific policies, governing choices, or ideological questions) rather than campaign strategy alone.
