So I know Brave is a mildly dark Pixar film, but I was scrolling through concept art of classic Disney and Pixar films and I came across these. My jaw genuinely dropped. This does NOT look like it was produced and released by Disney. Sure, darker stories by Disney are the best ones, but if you told me this was concept art for an animated film produced by LAIKA Studios I’d believe you. 😭

Children can really terrify me sometimes when they get "brainwashed" like this.

Hormuz Island (often called "Rainbow Island"), located in the Strait of Hormuz in southern Iran.

The island's soil and cliffs contain massive amounts of red ochre and hematite (iron oxide minerals). The soil on the island is locally called "Gelak Soil".

Due to its arid climate causing a lack of vegetation on the island, this rare heavy rain caused heavy erosion of the iron-rich earth into the Persian Gulf.
