Tonight we said goodnight to a real one! I have finished more than usual this October and I’m excited to share progress end of month but this was an absolute love pan

Definitely recommend but have so much more to pan that I won’t be buying this until that is done!

More often than not, it would leave a white residue on my lips, that I’d have to scrape away with my top teeth. Didn’t taste good to do either. This was an at home balm.

I also didn’t like how after a month, I had to cut it open and decant. I wish it had a more conventional container, like a tin/tub, or a tube I could use a tube roller on.

And I still peeled my lips daily. Would not repurchase.

It took me about three years to finish because it matches me perfectly in March-April and September-October. Too deep for winter me, too light for summer, yet just right in those in-between weeks. Loved the texture! No matter what I used (brush, sponge, fingers) it was so smooth. And takes just a little bit to cover big areas, blends perfectly. I would repurchase right away, but the shops in my area never have this specific shade!

My first eyeshadow palette since 2013. I have been using this alone on and off all these years and it still has so much left.

At this point I am convinced that by some bad luck every product I discover to be holy grail worthy will get discontinued (I made another post about a blush). Earlier this year I was on the hunt for the perfect everyday lip shade for my medium warm olive skin tone. Something that did not turn orange on me and actually stayed that mlbb pink. Randomly swatching lipsticks at chemist's warehouse I came across the Nude by Nature moisture shine lipstick in the shade deep plum. O my, this was the most beautiful plummy pink shade. Perfect amount of pink and plum that did not look too warm on me like most shades. It was truely one of a kind. I panned the first lipstick I purchased in 3 months! This was a no brainer kind of reach, complemented me so well and was super hydrating. I stopped myself from repurchasing it as I had so many other lipsticks I needed to get through. Last month I decluttered most of my regret purchase lipsticks and last week I was searching to repurchase this shade that was tried and tested. And there it was, out of stock everywhere and in the clearance section of chemist's warehouse. Luckily I found one store in driving distance that had it in stock. Picked up all three. Now I will rest in peace knowing I have this beautiful shade until I need to find a replacement. Added a swatch of the shade applied with Morphe long lasting lip liner in buff bandou. If you are my skin tone and find this at your local chemist's please give it a try!

Finally hit pan on surreal!!! Worked on this for almost 4 months, shade is very tightly pressed, was almost losing hope and today saw the pan. I have hit pan on 6 shades out of 10 now.

Hit pan on the shade Altar from The Witch Familiar Palette from Fantasy Cosmetica x Battybean. Other shades still look new, but the pan on Altar is a work of love, I fell in love with this sparkly, multireflective shadow and I’ve been using it non stop as a topper, basically on everything I can think it can be put on eyelids. Beautiful beyond words!

REM beauty glossy balm in juice box. Took this off my sister’s hands who didn’t want it and it ended up becoming my favourite gloss I’ve ever used. Will miss her dearly! Might repurchase once I get through some others.

Gosh, I have this solo eyeshadow (catrice 110 Chocolate Cake By The Ocean) for few years, it’s my choice when I want something on my eyes but don’t want anything super visible, nude-like. I thought “oh, I will see a pan soon!” for a few months of use and now I finally see a pan!

Hourglass Ambient lighting bronzer in the shade Diffused Bronze Light.

I first hit pan on this shade in 2020, but to be honest I didn’t want to use it up as it had become my favorite. I put it on the back burner while I used up other bronzers. Finally, after a few years of casually working on it, it’s gone!

I love the cooler color with rosy undertones and the luminous finish of this bronzer. The tone makes it stand out in my collection & I will repurchase on sale.

Using the Hourglass bronzer in Nude Bronze Light and the Haus Labs powder highlighter (that I love to use as a radiant blush) in Rose Quartz. I have a ton of blush and bronzer that I’ve still not used up, so I don’t think I’ll buy these again anytime soon, but I did love them both!

I’ve had these for years and have used them (esp the liner) quite a lot but was still surprised when my liner kept going on very faint and I couldn’t twist the stick up any more. I was unprepared to say goodbye….

I have one or two uses left of the lip gloss, although I don’t look forward to sticking my finger in there to get them.

Verdict: I won’t be repurchasing either of these, although I did like them. I will buy another red gloss, maybe Fenty or Too Faced if they’ve got one in the maximum plump range. I grew sick of the scent of this one, plus I miss having a precise applicator even if I get the wand dirty using it over lipstick; this one got pretty messy sometimes too.

I LOVED holding / using the eyeliner and also appreciated that the brown was deep enough to show up as a dark brown on my (med-deep) skin, but I wish the brush tip was a little more flexible, and for the price I’d like to love it 100%, you know? Also, it’s unreasonably long and wouldn’t fit in any of my travel pouches :-( I’ll continue using my Maybelline Tattoo Studio Gel Liner; I don’t need a sharp or defined wing when I’m using brown liner anyways.

This sculpting night cream was a dream to use and I’m a little sad to have it be finished! It sat in my stash for ALMOST 4 years before I actually used it, I’m a little embarrassed but I no longer buy backups and extras.. only if it involves travel sizes being on sale!

This product did well for me in the summer but as the weather has currently changed and the temperature is colder I have found that for my skin I need to reapply and sometimes I would wake up in the morning with my face feeling tight.

I don’t mind that this isn’t a year-round option for me because I feel like it did its job overall; my skin is still wrinkle indention free and is firm where I’ve noticed sagging in others - I would definitely repurchase down the road! I have yet to be disappointed in a Clinique product!

Higher end priced but the results and the moisturizing = great!

I hit pan on the Sculpted pomade today! I use this palette every day and thought I'd comment on how I use each shade since the pomades especially are great multipurpose products.

Contour: Primarily I use the Chiseled pomade, which I expect will be the first pan that completely disappears. I sometimes mix in a bit of the Stone pomade for more depth, especially when on camera for work since I tend to get washed out.

Concealer: Sandstone pomade works well for me as a pinpoint concealer on darker spots and to clean up the edge of my lipline.

Brows: Desert pomade by itself works well for lighter makeup days, but I add some of the Sculpted pomade to balance out heavier looks. I use Dessert every day I do makeup and it's gonna be gone soon, even though I use a small amount each time.

Eyeliner: I use all of the brown pomades and Tourmaline, smudged out with the corresponding powder, as eyeliner.

Eye base: I sometimes mix or layer Sandstone or Tourmaline with eye primer as a base for other shadows to show off a glitter or shift better.

Blush: I have used the Core pomade as blush a couple of times.

Eyeshadow: I most often use other eyeshadows in my collection since I prefer vibrant colour, glitter, multi chrome, etc. The Mirage powder works great for me as a transition though for many looks. I also like both the Stone powder (for a while, my only grey) and the Core powder for certain looks.

i love using this highlighter as an eyeshadow topper and on the high points of my face, im gonna be so sad when it runs out😭
