He canceled his concert last night, for the claimed reason of storms, but he just left like a bitch. Likely because Pittsburgh’s Pride Festival was going on.
The worst part about this song is it literally makes you think he's taking responsibility for his own bullshit, but nope, very next line blames someone else. Probably Biden's fault he's a pussy.
Yeah, there was a severe thunderstorm warning from the NWS, but I think he just should've sent out a notice to all the tailgaters to be ready to shelter in place. Canceling the way that he did was a little bitch move.
What funny is Pittsburgh might go ham for Pride, but Kenny Chesney visits every year and that whole area of the state goes crazy for it. He coulda had a big thing there if he played his cards right… coulda been worse. He coulda landed on Furry weekend.

I saw Sawyer Brown play a set in 60+mph wind, dust in their eyes, stage falling apart. They didnt wanna let the fans down so they played the whole set at 2x speed, it was fuckin hilarious and ill never not love them for it. They put themselves in uncomfortable harms way to hold up their end of the deal, thats how you win over blue collar folk.
It wasn’t even Pittsburgh’s Pride event. It was Three Rivers Arts Festival. It’s just 100’s of local artists with booths and a bunch of awesome bands play over two weekends. I hope he cancelled because he thought it was “pride”. Such a fucking loser.
I live in Pittsburgh. It did not rain Saturday night. The independent baseball team that plays about 40 minutes south, where the storms were much worse played their game that night. The weather play zero part in the cancellation.
It's not a reach. The storms were over and done by 3 maybe 3:30 in some areas.
He absolutely cancelled because of Pride. Chances are he's allowed to cancel because of inclement weather without getting some kind of fee, but wasn't allowed to cancel due to a completely separate event going on the same day.
You can believe him if you want, but dude's a POS and would absolutely do that.
After all, this is the guy who took a paycheck from SNL, snubbed the cast, and left early, as if he didn't know what SNL was gonna be like.
