r/Pretty_Little_Liars is a great place to share memes, do some games, share Tiktoks. Check it out for more.
And as a reminder Rule #5, as described in the 'About' section of our subreddit:
r/PrettyLittleLiars, like other TV Show subs, fell victim to Daily Game spam. After complaints of the spam, the low quality, and karma farming concerns, the Mod Team has decided they are not allowed here. If you have a Game, make it ONE post only. If it is going to be longer you must post it on r/Pretty_Little_Liars. Initial post and results posted on r/Pretty_Little_Liars can be crossposted here for more engagement.
Don't know what a daily game is? Here are some examples.
Daily posts doing "who's most likely to"
Individual posts for each square of a character alignment chart
If you're going to do any of those above they must be limited to one post!

Are you a new member? You should check out our number one rule.

RULE #1 - Follow Basic Reddiquette
We do not condone the attacking or mistreatment of users— this includes DMs!
Aggressive fighting, name-calling, hate speech, or repeated targeting of a user is not permissible. Disagreement must be civil and respectful. The Mod Team deems passive aggressive remarks and attitude as instigating. Therefore, it falls under basic reddiquette.
Name-calling of characters or actors does not result in content removal unless attacking their appearance.
Overall, any rudeness will be taken down. You can call us sensitive, but our lack of leniency on this rule is why so many people consider this sub a positive environment compared to others. You are allowed to have disagreements in discussions, but once it gets hostile the comments will be shut down.
This rule aims to maintain a respectful and pleasant environment by discouraging personal attacks, insults, or inflammatory comments. Instead, users are encouraged to engage in discussions calmly and respectfully, focusing on constructive dialogue rather than arguments or conflicts.
Anything fighting should be reported immediately as it breaks "Rule #1 - Basic Reddiquette". When reporting, click "Breaks r/PrettyLittleLiars rules" then click the first option, rule number one.
TL;DR? Don't be an asshole

Season 2 part 2.
The town just knows a cop is with a high schooler?
One thing I noticed with season 2 part 2, is they have not used the term "underage".
During the Aria / Ezra fallout with Byron and Ella, the words "teenager" and "student" are used, but never "minor" or "underage". Maybe this will change later, but for now, it feels like the show is kind of doing its own damage control by suddenly obfuscating Aria's age.
Cut to, Garrett and Jenna??
I assumed Jenna is also the same age as the liars and she is publicly going out with a cop?!
Wut lol

I’m rereading the entire series for the first time since middle school. I was scared the books would be dull and unimaginative since I’m now reading them as a 28 year old and…. I’m so pleasantly to surprised. Sara Shepard is so fun and captures every complexity of being a teenage girl in such a unique way. Her ability to really embody every character and make you feel like you’re in their shoes was something I was shocked by. Has anyone else done a reread recently and felt the same way????

I genuinely believe Big A always had a particular obsession with both Mona and Spencer. They were both admitted to Radley, and they were both recruited into the A-Team. Wren was the doctor for both of them, he was always weirdly obsessed with Spencer, and he seemed to know Radley like the back of his hand. Unlike Charlotte, who showed very little interest in Spencer after her reveal and seemed much more focused on Alison, Wren would have had a much more personal connection to Spencer's story.
I still think Wren was one of the most wasted characters in the entire show. If only Marlene had planned things out from the beginning... maybe Julian Morris could have been available to return.

This one scene of Ezra, Caleb and Alison sitting in a car was funny to me because Ezra is a grown man hanging out with a bunch of high schoolers.

I watched the first 3 seasons of PLL live when they aired. Didnt finish the series.
Its FALL and in 2026 something whispered to my soul "rewatch PLL"
And I am. No regrets. On season 2. Having a blast.
I never watched Vampire Diaries before Youtuber Jenny Nicholson made her video.
And I watched Jenny's video and I honestly rewatch over and over. Its so engaging.
I remember trying to watch / listen to Mike's PLL video but ... it felt stunted.
I dont know if his commentary wasnt deep. The structure of the video not as engaging. The jokes flat.
Although I do think he coined "crunchy yellow top."
Any PLL watch his vid? Thoughts on it?

I really wish Jason hadn't also been one of the many creeps in Rosewood who preyed on underage girls because I found him and Spencer's relationship really endearing. Every time I caught myself liking him, I remember that the N.A.T. club was his idea, and he kissed Aria when she was a minor(also, im on only on season 4 for the first time, so idk if this ever gets addressed, but that scene of Ali crying about Jason and his friends really freaks me out)

Aria didn’t even think “oh he might’ve killed A because the amount of psychological torture and hell she’s put all of us through” nope she was like “guys he did this for me🥺” like omg girl please yall haven’t spoken in years this man had a new gf and moved on like what😭 aria was so delusional about Ezra im crying I would never think anything my ex does has something to do w me

I’m currently rewatching the show for the fifth time or something like that. And I’m on this episode and I’m having a Berenstain Bears moment during the cafeteria scene.
For some reason, I am remembering that when the episode first aired Paige’s dad used a slur when talking about Emily.
Now to be fair, it was 16 years ago (give or take) and I was like 12 or 13, so I could just be totally misremembering. I just had a weird lightbulb moment watching that scene.
Thanks guys!

currently doing a rewatch of PLL and i forgot how many freaking underage relationships there are in this show!!!!! i cannot believe middle school me (i was in 7th grade when pll came out) romanticized and was infatuated with some of these men and some of these relationships?! 🤮🤮🤮
i’m just shocked honestly every other dude is an adult preying on a teenager, it is wild!!!!!! and it’s kind of glazed over? i feel like ezra and aria was addressed because of the fact that he was her teacher. but ian? wren? garrett? jason? what about them? they also hooked up with TEENAGERS! and underage minors and it was kind of glazed over.
ali was only going to tell melissa about the affair because it was an affair not because she was a minor!
it’s gross i don’t like it. i am grossed tf out. i can’t even watch the show fr fr without being constantly grossed out by the illegal-ness of it all.
anyways other than that—i love the liars and i miss being in middle school and looking forward to tuesday evenings after school and thinking that high school was going to be somewhat like this—spoiler alert it’s not lol. i’m almost 30 now and a teacher (ironically enough) and it’s nice to watch the nostalgic shows and remember when life was simpler:-) but like i said i don’t like how every other relationship is an adult with a minor.

If there were a prequel series, what would you have wanted it to be of? The wine moms? The summer before Alison disappeared? Etc?
For me it would have to be when the liars first became friends with Alison. When did she assembled the group, sixth grade or eighth grade? How did Alison approach each liar? Was she already friends with Aria like many assume? How long did it take for her show the liars that bitchy queen bee Alison we had first been introduced to? And show us the liars finding and taking the shed in the woods as their hideout spot
As side plots: we’d see Toby dealing with his mom being sent to Radley and dying then his dad dating and getting married a year later (don’t even get me started on it him),
the start of Byron’s affair with Meredith
Emily realizing she loves Alison and trying to hide it from her but then somehow Alison finds out
Hanna struggling with the downfall of Tom and Ashley’s marriage - maybe add in Mona/Hanna friendship on that until Alison fully pulls Hanna from Mona
Aria’s uncle Scott’s death and her being put in therapy over it (my head-cannon on why her therapy papers are different than the liars)
Spencer’s parents being hard on her now that Melissa is off at college and her trying to be even better than Melissa and soon crashing which would lead to her start of using
Plus, I’d want it to go along with the books and give us Alison and Courtney plot
What kind of prequel mini series would you want to see?

I think they fumbled this one. Ok so the spinoff show should’ve been a prequel of Mary and Jessica Drake. They were the original sin. Mary took the fall for Jessica and was sent to Radley and what happened next set it up for their kids to inherit the sins of the parents. There is so much backstory with just those two and their families. Then Peter adding to the Original Sin with Jason and creating another set of twins; Spencer and Alex. There is so much backstory with this leading into the present where history repeats and present day Alex Drake has a daughter that grows up being manipulated by her and becomes obsessed with “A” and like mother like daughter is jealous of everything that Spoby’s daughter has. Maybe they can be Irish twins having same dna with their moms being twins and looking alike. Or to add to the sin factor like Mary, Alex has twins while on the run and she gives them both up and Spoby adopts them setting off the next sequence of events. Now does Spoby know who the twins really are or is this “AD” final revenge closing the chapter on the game?
Lol I may have too much time on my hands. Hmm Original Sin: The Final Chapter sounds like a great book title.

Sara Harvey being the Black Widow ruined one of PLL's best A moments for me
This was such a badass ending to an episode. The creepy reveal of the Black Widow, the Alison pictures in the background, and that fantastic song playing over the scene. Everything about it was perfect and made this character seem like someone REALLY important to the mystery.
At the time, my two main theories were that the Black Widow was either Melissa Hastings or Courtney DiLaurentis from the books. Both would've been so much more interesting, especially with how mysterious the character was supposed to be.
And then two seasons later we find out it was fucking Sara Harvey of all people.
PLL was so good at building up these mysterious characters only for the actual reveals to be nowhere near as interesting as the buildup. This scene deserved a much better payoff.

I'm a first time viewer of the show and I'm just curious. Mine is Hanna Marin. Her fashion, her funny lines, her iconic moments, her struggles, and her intelligence are underrated! I see myself in her the most🛍️💖

Hanna & Spencer
SPANNA
2 who carried the show
Fire & Ice, Brains & Brawn’s, Honest & Chaotic, Ultimate Detective Duo, Ultimate Sister Coded Duo.
Hanna brings street smarts, comedy, emotional intuition; bluntness & outside the box thinking. Spencer brings intellectual and strategic detective work, comedy, bluntness & all around smarts.
They are the main 2 who don’t sugar coat anything
Anytime they was going through some or had information they always called each other.
Hanna is blunt with Spencer to help her not over think it may seem rude but it’s how they are & Spencer corrects Hanna bc of her insecurities and feeling unseen this way Hanna knows Spencer is listening and not ignoring her or tuning her out . (At first Hanna thought it was mocking years before series started but then they had an understanding Hanna helped Spencer and Spencer helped Hanna) even I clocked why they do certain things . Correction and bluntness. Its not malice; it’s how they keep each other grounded.
Their comedic timing is unmatched Spencer’s deadpan reactions to Hanna’s hilarious “Hanna-isms” (like “Read it? I can’t even look at it! Or “Jenna can’t hear us, she’s blind”) it gives some of the best lighthearted moments in an otherwise dark show.
When the others are too scared to make a move Hanna and Spencer are the ones taking action. They don’t just sit around talking all the time they sneak into radley, track down leads, and physically confront their problems. They teamed up alot like investigating radley sanitarium, tracking down clues about “A” in the early seasons while Emily and Aria are distracted by their respective relationship dramas.
Spencer thinks 10 steps ahead while Hanna acts immediately on pure instinct. They balance each other perfectly.
While Aria was trapped in her Ezra bubble and Emily was dealing with rotating relationship drama, Spanna actually drove the mystery forward. Aria and Emily often enabled each others bad choices, but Spencer and Hanna were the only ones who would look each other in the eye and say “you’re being crazy right now.”
They fiercely protect one another. When Spencer was spiraling in season 3 (Radley) or when Hanna was suffering from ptsd after her kidnapping in season 7 or when Hanna had her drinking problem and Spencer clocked it and was worried about her spiraling; she went directly to Caleb and after that Hanna was better, they were uniquely and heavily equipped to pull each other back from the edge because they don’t sugarcoat things. Even in the time jump with the “Caleb situation” they showed adult maturity, instead of letting a guy permanently break them apart, they communicated, cried it out, and prioritized their lifelong sisterhood over a highschool romance and their bond became even stronger.
They never judged each others rock bottoms. They literally trauma bonded they went through the most at the hands of A which made them even closer & were able to help each other through their PTSD without being judged.
Season 3 episode 4 where they sneak into radley like I mentioned they go to see Mona and end up hiding in a closet and under a bed together one of the many times they take physical risks. When Ali comes back season 5 episode 5 everyone is walking on eggshells, Hanna and Spencer are the ones in the living room fighting over how to handle her. They are the only 2 willing to challenge Allison’s narrative directly.
Their growth and development from beginning to end I love it .
