I was looting a police station I got everything and left to base when I checked for my sledgehammer hammer cus i was gonna go to gun store I couldn’t find it anywhere and it break my heart 💔💔

I just wanted to share how proud I am I managed to get my character to survive 12 in game days. I normally only last at max until day 3, cause I keep getting overwhelmed in combat and bit. Of course that was still the way I went this time lol, but I’m more confident in taking down zomboids beforehand at least! Even survived the mini horde the helicopter brought to my base.

One question if someone can help me answer: what’s the best way to reduce your sadness level quite fast? That’s what got me this time, because my character was so depressed and stressed that their response time was so slow.

I’ve been playing with A-life a lot recently, and I came across this npc named Curtis, he asked me to help me get some waters to some people and I helped, he ended up joining my base. he was always there standing out the front defending he killed about 100 zombies I bet. He came with me on supply runs help me clear out all of Rosewood he was a beast. well one day I get back and I’m setting him up to go out and collect some food, but then i realize he’s bit……… I talked to him and he said it burns…… took him out back and told them to wait in the parking lot… shot him right there. I know it’s a game, but I feel so sad. I literally cried.

Looking for a mod or two that will add a more "Cinematic" horror feel to the game, maybe a few new mobs but mostly looking for... and I hate to use the word.... vibes.

Not really looking for any new mechanics, but more thematic mods.

Preference for mods that can be added to an existing save. But will to restart if the mod suggestion is good enough.

Personally i like a challange out the gate or close to it. So i start in November 1st. Planting seasons on. And i use a mod to make winters colder.

I feel if i make it to spring, i have earned a "break", and by then iv set up farm area and am situated well enough. Also gives me few months to actually decide where to settle.

I love the snow, the snow on cars mod,and The long dark vibes. Typical apoc settings but less than insane loot and 6 percent sprinters. Mostly vanilla.

BUT… I had fun! Despite Failing the tutorial and setting off FOUR alarms..

Hello everyone, I hope all you PZ survivors are keeping well. I need some help/suggestions. A friend wants to do a Nomad type of run. And I've got some mods downloaded, but would love to hear from the rest of y'all to see what anyone would suggest!

Pretty much we'd like to live in some type of vehicle. And if we need to hunker down in a house only for a one to three day period, but us always be on the move with a mobile base.

Like Louisville size city or big town sizes

Ive already heard of vein and also not the 3d mod

I cleared out around 400 zombies so I could make it to the visitor entrance, and I've killed 450+ here just trying to get through the front door. Lots of good long blade experience though.

After more than a thousand hours of gameplay, I came across this rare random event.

I was trying to open project zomboid but it just freezes on the photosensitivity screen. I searched for answers but could not really find an actual solution.

What does that "car" key do? Trailer opens without a key. Its parts replacement doesn't require a key.

Hi! I want to collect every piece of literature and media in Build 42: books, comics, magazines, newspapers, flyers, CDs, VHS tapes, etc. Does anyone know how many there are in total, or is there a full list somewhere? Any tips for collecting them would be appreciated. Thanks!

My longest run ever just ended, was “murdered” not by zombies… but by NPCs. Played with bandit NPC and was really fun but as long as you go , they become more and more. Attacked by different “factions”. Some with hide clothing, some with only handguns and knifes, some with M16A1 , some with rifles. After 2 months and 26 days and about 2950 zombies , the 45 npc attacked my base and could do nothing. Killed as many as i could but they had rifles and assault rifles. Joselyn will be remembered!! RIP 🪦 Unfortunately from sadness and some nerves i pressed Alt+F4 ( dont pretend you never did it) sooooo no screenshot 😂😂 Next one will begin soon
