Why am I getting 8 crappy propaganda flyers in one mail day? Is this what we’re wasting money on?

I have a ball signed by Pat Summit approx 13ish years ago gifted to my late mother when I was a kid. The ball is painted it seems and deteriorates when being handled. Seems like the paint and ball's skin are just not holding up to age.
Was curious if anyone knew of a reputable sports memorabilia restorer in West TN or really the state in general? This ball means a lot to me, my mom and I bonded over the Lady Vols and UT Football when I was a kid before she passed so I want to take care of it before it deteriorates.

Many have seen Marsha's latest AI generated campaign ad that shows her and some fellow Republicans dancing with rapper Kendrick Lamar's music as the backing soundtrack. My question is how does this not break the Elvis Act passed in 2024 or the Transparency for Deepfakes and Political Advertising Act of 2026?
The Elvis Act - Passed in March 2024 and effective July 1, 2024, this landmark law protects musicians, actors, and other individuals from the unauthorized AI-generated cloning or appropriation of their voice, image, and likeness. I highly doubt she received Kendricks permission to use his voice in her ad.
Transparency for Deepfakes and Political Advertising Act: Effective July 1, 2026, this law imposes criminal penalties for the deceptive use of AI-generated deepfakes in political advertisements. Seems clear enough.
Thoughts? I have called her DC office and Nashville office to ask, but both go straight to voicemail. Left my contact info and question, but don't expect any type of reply.

For those of you who can’t wait to spend more on bills, MLGW proposed an increase of 11% for gas and 14% for water annually through 2028. Final approval awaits City Council clearance (who I’m sure will take a stand for residents and refuse 🙄) And yes, Memphis residents already got a rate hike this year of 6% which was part of the reason our bills were higher.

Okay this might sound silly but I'm a Brit who will be visiting family in Tennessee next year. I'll be based midway between Chattanooga and Knoxville and I'm hoping to do a little sight seeing while there. Just wondering if I should expect any negative reactions to being an alternative woman with masses of bright blue and pink hair. I know Tennessee is a conservative red state but I don't know much else about it.
Edit: thank you everyone! Oh and thanks for the recs of places to visit too.

Basically the title. After a quick visit, we’re looking to donate children’s stuff that we don’t want to lug home with us. Includes pack n play, diapers, toys, bottled water. All like new. I’d really prefer a non-religious organization, but that’s not a super strong preference. More important is that they are open tomorrow (Monday) and an easy stop somewhere along 40. Thanks!

Just had to share.
Thanks TN. I’ve never seen some of those colors before.

Just saw a very large one traveling east to west here at center hill lake. Largest I have ever seen it was very low and slow changed colors from blue to green. Seemed to interact with atmosphere. The size of the glow was about the size of a dollar coin at arms length.

Mid-20s couple, we'll be visiting Nashville for the first time in late November (mostly for business) and would like to take the opportunity to see a little more of the state, though time is limited- hoping to take a midweek overnight trip to one of these cities.
We love long drives through the backroads (the more scenic and twisty, the better!), wildlife, museum-hopping, and trying new foods/cultural experiences that we cant get in our part of the country (California). So the journey is just as important as the destination.
Memphis - Would likely meander partly down natchez trace parkway there and tn-100 back, or vice versa. The main attraction for us is the pyramid lol, it has been a dream for me to see it. Aside from that not sure what we would do there...
Chattanooga - Would take one of the routes that have been excellently recommended on this subreddit. Don't have a goal attraction here but have heard this is a nicer place to visit, as opposed to Memphis?
Thanks to those who have posted in the past with recommendations, which have been very helpful in trip planning!

Hello,
I am looking at travelling to pigeon forge from the uk.
I am planning to fly to Atlanta as its considerably cheaper staying there for 2 days then driving to Helen and stay for a day then drive to pigeon forge where we would stay for 10 days and drive back to Atlanta.
I am aware there is not enough to do in pigeon forge for 10 days however i was wondering if it is a good base of operations so we don’t have to keep packing and moving. As said we are renting a car and I don’t mind driving an hour or so to places.
If you don’t think we should stop there for 10 nights please give recommendations where we could split the 10 nights instead.

Hi my wife and I were heading to NC tmr morning and would have to pass through. We don't know the roads well going out that way. You think its too hazardous? Want to be safe and reschedule if we have to.
