Saw a guy draw some stuff in the limited palette used in TF2's achievements, and thought that looked fun! Makes for a simpler piece today, but I enjoyed it. Might repost this if my end goal ever comes to fruition, but who's to say that'll ever happen!

I remember when I first heard this Random Encounters song it reminded me of the War song way back when! But I was listening to YouTube Music and realized the song didn't have a lot of people in the comments. So just wondering if this is really as underrated as it seems to be.

Okay, before writing my story, let me acknowledge that I understand this is a very sensitive topic and I do not condone to racism, hate towards other nations/nationalities/ethnics and so on and so on.

Today, I was on Upward (Valve server) with a new friend of mine and during the set up time, some dudes started to speak Russian and when my friend who understood it responded in English, they commanded to use only Russian and votekicked him out. I was furious and I also put that guy on vote and managed to kick him. But, as you can guess, his friends also kicked me out from the server. And this is not the first time this is happening. Most of the rude interactions, invasive behavior were observed coming mostly from the players who speak this language.

This is NOT to say all Russians or Russophones are bad, I have Russian friends on steam and irl. And this is also NOT to say everyone else behaves very politely or respectfully. This is also NOT ignoring the influence of these people on keeping the game alive (Tbh Valve games are loved by this demographic

Also, same in Counter Strike. I played CS2 for a while, around 100 hours back in Winter and Spring and this is the same problem. Very invasive and loud and oftentimes rude.

This post was written only to share my experience and NOT to spread hate, xenophobia and so on.

Pretty much you can get every cosmetic by just extracting tf2's files to SFM's TF folder every holiday update.

These are also just the normal cosmetics in tf2 meaning they only fit on the playermodels.

Most people use the TF_Movie models which have different body sculpts meaning a lot of cosmetics tend to clip and mess up in certain areas.

I don't really see the point in these being here when they can be pulled manually as well as the fact they won't fit on the standard models everyone uses for SFM.

If they must upload them it would be nice to get SFM versions of them which people would appreciate if they use cosmetics in their animations.

by wrecked i mean im not great at shooters so i usually spend most of my time re spawning and then getting backstabed or something like that. Im by no means good at shooters such as tf2 but i want to know the times i do pick up tf2 how can i be a good teammate, does this matter or am i thinking to hard? i want to enjoy the game but its hard too when i feel so bad at tf2.

What advice can you give if any?

CHILL OUT HEAVY

A TF2 Heavy freak that’s sort of lock in medic, instead of having the intent of killing and infecting, he wants to stop the infection and help people survive. His powers include but not limited to: not being able to get infected, god-like healing(for him and others), superhuman strength, being able to travel to different TF2-verses, and being able to uninfect infected serverblighted. Another name for him would be Cristian heavy, and he’s basically a friendly on steroids!

Should be noted powers:

Sandvich: Chill out’s sandvich can heal anyone to max hp, ammo, overheal, give uber for an entire minute, and make anyone immune to the blight.

Friendly’s Dance: When the heavy starts a conga, or any other dance. Everyone will be pulled into the line/dance, if you are uninfected, you will be immune to the blight, and if you are infected you will slowly turn uninfected. Which no one can harm anyone

Uncontrolled Schadenfreude/Holliday’s hit: Makes anyone uncontrolably laugh, cheering up anyone non infected and makes them (almost) just feel like they aren’t going to die. And with infected people, they get to be sane and not controlled (If it’s multple people they will split)

Uber’s call: Spawns Uber Medic from that one video because FUCK YEAH HE’S A GOOD PARTNER!

Backstory: He was just a normal hoovy, trying to have fun in the freak universe (Even as a hoovy he can use respawn machine, IDK why I included this but it felt important) until the serverblight infected his family and close friends, though they are still infected, he unlocked his powers and didn’t want anyone to end up like them.

Personality: A hoovy’s personality! kind, gentle, funny, plays around a bit, yeah!

Will add more if this actually gets recognized, and spread the word! make edits, SFMs, anything to help make him known and stop the serverblight!

Somebody some tips to make my preformance better?

My sleep schedule was off recently and I found myself playing around 2-4am…holy cow they are a different breed. I figured everyone still playing was either a god who can flick multiple headshots point blank, or a scout perfecting mid range scatter shots. I genuinely felt washed up trying to relearn sniper.

Then I returned to normal hours…na normal games, tend to end top 4, maybe 6. Late hours have different kinds of players, if you ever thought yourself a god of tf2, the difference is like being a diamond lol player and entering Korean servers.

I don't own the Kazotsky Kick taunt (it's too expensive for me, but I'll try to buy it someday). So whenever another player uses it, I hit G right away and join in, and I won't let go, even if it takes one or two hours. Ever. Warning: this clip is 5 minutes long, and yes, I stayed the whole time. Btw, I'm new here, and sorry if I'm a bit clueless hehe...

So far I've been called "gross", "disgusting" and someone said "ewwwww, why do your feet look like that?"

I'd say it's pretty successful, though I do wish the parts of the exposed skin on the "Master Mind" were able to be colored differently, but maybe it just makes it even more gross that way.
