Mamta Kafle Bhatt case - what becomes clearer when you watch the recordings in order?

I put together a documentary following the recorded police visits and TV interview in the Mamta Kafle Bhatt case. I'm the creator of Exhibit Tape, and I'd like feedback from people who watch this kind of coverage.

Watch the documentary

Two questions: did the chronology help you understand the case, and did the timeline cards and narration help or interrupt the original footage? I'm also interested in which point you think most needs independent corroboration.

If you watch, tell me the moment that worked best or lost your attention — a timestamp in the YouTube comments would help me improve the next film. Replies here are welcome too.

The narration is synthetic; the police and TV recordings are authentic. Bhatt has pleaded not guilty, and the case remained at trial as of October 17, 2026.

“Questions Nobody Is Asking About the Lindsay Clancy Case”

Before I get into this — I want to be clear. This is just my thoughts on the whole thing. I'm not accusing anyone of anything. I'm just going by what I've been reading and watching from the trial. That's it.

I've been following the Lindsay Clancy trial closely. I've gone through the testimony, the evidence, the medication list, and the timeline. And I have a different theory than what's being argued in that courtroom. I'm not a lawyer. I'm not a doctor. But I can read evidence and I can ask questions that nobody seems to be asking.

I think Patrick Clancy killed those kids. And I think he tried to kill Lindsay too.

Before you call me crazy, hear me out.

Everything we know about what happened on January 24, 2023 came from one person — Patrick Clancy. Lindsay never spoke to law enforcement. She was hospitalized immediately and has been at Tewksbury Hospital ever since. She physically could not tell her side. The entire narrative that police built this case on came out of Patrick's mouth. And nobody questioned it.

Here's what I think happened that night.

Before Patrick left the house, he killed those kids. He told Lindsay the kids were watching TV or eating — Dawson was eating on the couch when Patrick says he left. Then he drove to CVS, picked up food, established his alibi on surveillance cameras, and came home to play the grieving father.

Lindsay went downstairs after he left to check on her children and found them dead. Her phone went dark at 5:13 PM — right before Patrick says he left at 5:15. She wasn't using her phone after that because she just found her babies dead. She ran upstairs to the bedroom and locked the door.

When Patrick got home, he went after her. The bed was moved — that's not a suicide setup, that's a woman trying to barricade a door. He got in. She fought him. The cuts on her body? She was a labor and delivery nurse. She knew anatomy. If Lindsay Clancy wanted to kill herself by cutting, she would have known exactly where and how deep. Those cuts look more like defensive wounds from someone trying to protect herself.

The knife was placed neatly on the nightstand. Think about that. A woman who just murdered three children and is in a suicidal psychotic frenzy carefully places a knife on the nightstand? No. That knife was put there.

Then he threw her out the window. She didn't jump. That's why she has a spinal injury. That's why she was paralyzed. And when the police got there, she was soaking wet. In January. In Massachusetts. There was a garden hose outside. Who has a garden hose running in a New England winter? He soaked her. Why?

Then he called 911. But he said it took him "a few minutes" because of "issues with his phone." You can call 911 from any phone — no service needed, no activation needed. Every phone sold in America can dial 911. What was he doing for those few minutes? Staging the scene.

He told the 911 dispatcher "she killed the kids." But he also testified that she could barely talk — she had cuts on her wrists, a cut across her neck, and had just fallen from a second-story window and broken her spine. So which is it? She couldn't talk, or she confessed and told him exactly where to find the children? You can't have it both ways.

Now let's talk about the medications.

Lindsay was on 13 different psychiatric medications prescribed by six providers who never talked to each other. Patrick handled those pills. He had access to all of them. Five of those medications look like identical small white round pills. He could have been giving her whatever he wanted and she wouldn't have known the difference — especially in a drugged-up, sleep-deprived state with brain fog she was already reporting.

He knew what those drugs did. He later married a doctor. If he wanted to understand drug interactions and what combinations cause hallucinations and psychosis, he had access to that knowledge.

After the killings, the pills from Lindsay's nightstand didn't go to the police. The lead investigator confirmed under oath that those pills went to Patrick Clancy's own lawyer. Patrick brought a separate set of pills from his car to the police station. Why are the pills going two different directions? Why does evidence in a murder case end up with the suspect's attorney instead of law enforcement?

And then there's the laptop.

A Surface Pro laptop was found in Patrick's basement office. State Police found internet searches on methods of suicide on that laptop from August 2022. Patrick denied under oath that he made those searches. His email was also used to log into Lindsay's Facebook account. The investigator spelled out Patrick's name in the email address but then said he "couldn't confirm" it was his. Really?

Now ask yourself — why did police never seriously investigate Patrick?

He reportedly had connections to law enforcement. They took his statement at face value. They never questioned the hose. They never questioned why the bed was moved. They never questioned the pill chain of custody. They never questioned the laptop searches he denied making. They built their entire case on the word of the one person who had the most to gain from Lindsay taking the blame.

And Lindsay? To her, she DID kill those kids. Not because she strangled them — but because she left them with him. She trusted him. She was their mother, and she didn't protect them. That's the guilt she carries. Nobody knows what Patrick Clancy was really like behind closed doors. The public saw the forgiving husband, the grieving father, the GoFundMe, the New Yorker interview. But his wife ended up paralyzed and his three children ended up dead, and everything we know about that night came from his mouth and his mouth only.

He's since divorced Lindsay, moved to Manhattan, and married a doctor. Lindsay is paralyzed for life in a state hospital.

I'm not saying I can prove this in a courtroom. I'm saying the questions I'm asking should have been asked by the people whose job it was to ask them. And they weren't.

Three children are dead. Somebody needs to ask the hard questions. Even if the answers are uncomfortable.

Who's The Real Bill?: The Battle for William Woods

He Stole a Man’s Name for 30 Years....Then Got the Real William Woods Jailed

Nancy Zimmer married “Bill Woods” in 1994 and built a life with him as he developed IT skills and worked for the University of Iowa Health Care. In 2019, a homeless man in a Los Angeles bank claiming to be William Woods was arrested after failing account security questions, and prosecutors identified him as Matthew David Keirans based on past records; he was deemed unfit, spent 428 days in jail and 147 days in a state hospital, then took a plea and was ordered to stop using the name William Woods. Years later, University of Iowa detective Ian Mallory investigated new complaints and discovered both men had valid copies of the same Kentucky birth record; DNA and the father’s identification proved the California arrestee was the real William Woods and the Wisconsin hospital employee was Matthew Keirans, who had stolen Woods’ identity since 1988. After federal charges, Woods’ conviction was vacated in 2024, and Keirans was sentenced to 12 years in 2025.

The Bench in Salisbury (2026) [9:12] | The Skripal Novichok poisoning, and why the three men charged have never stood trial

Post image
1 Upvotes

On 4 March 2018, Sergei Skripal, a former Russian military intelligence officer who had spied for Britain, and his daughter Yulia were found collapsed on a bench in Salisbury. Police believe Novichok, a Soviet-developed nerve agent, had been put on the front door handle of his house that day from a modified perfume bottle. Both survived. Detective Sergeant Nick Bailey, who went to the house, was seriously ill too.

Two men had flown in on Russian passports as Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov, and they flew back to Moscow that night. In September 2018 British prosecutors charged them, though both were in Russia. Open-source investigators later identified them as GRU officers Alexander Mishkin and Anatoliy Chepiga. A third man, Denis Sergeev, was charged in 2021.

At the end of June 2018, Charlie Rowley found the discarded bottle. At his home in Amesbury, his partner Dawn Sturgess sprayed it on her wrists. She died on 8 July. The public inquiry into her death reported on 4 December 2025 and found the operation must have been authorised by Putin. None of the three men has ever faced trial, because Russia does not extradite its own citizens.

Disclosure: I work with the small channel that made this. It's our first episode, an animated documentary with AI-assisted visuals, built from public records, the inquiry report and published reporting, with the sources in the description. One correction we've already caught: the memorial card at 6:42 gives Dawn's birth year as 1968, but she was 44. Honest feedback is very welcome.
