Hardware combo for nasty sht

Hey guys Im thinking about upgrading my hardware setup. Right now it's really simple I just have a novation Circuit tracks and a sampler and im doing some tekno with this but I have the feeling I'm not flexible enough especially in creating a really fat Kick+bass motor. I will buy a digitone 2 as the main engine for this. But then I want to get a equalizer for some nasty kicks. Im thinking about buying the boss pq4. But it's expensive and old. But I can't find a alternative. Do you guys know something that would suit me better than the boss pq4 or is way cheaper? And if u have suggestions for my setup please let me know, thank you in advance!! :))
