Maybe it's time for the American empire to end.

Don't be so sure there will be no revolution. Keep faith alive that all that is good and true and real will prevail. Progress is happening just much more quietly than the decline

I had to deny knowledge in order to make room for faith
 in  r/RandomThoughts •  6d ago

This sounds like whats going on in America right now. No room for truth or fact. Just have faith that what your being told is the only reality? One has e to make space for truth and fact to decide where their faith is.

I feel that msg is demonized because of racism and not because it’s “bad for you”
 in  r/RandomThoughts •  6d ago

Yasser! Been saying this for years. Its much better for you than table salt and is lower in sodium than actual salt also

could fit 17 sextillion people in a ball the size of earth. could fit the earth in the sun 1.3 million times. could fit our sun in the largest star 10 billion times. Our solar system is larger then that star. 400 billion solar systems in our galaxy. 2 trillion galaxies.

Not gonna lie, your post and your interaction throughout this comment thread almost feels like a conversation with Sheldon from big bang theory.

Do you just know these things naturally or are you in the throws of a massive rabbit hole fueled by psychedelics? Legitimate question not patronizing. Curiosity piqued..

I can stare at my watch looking at the seconds pass for hours, sometimes I wonder what that means.
 in  r/RandomThoughts •  19d ago

Before technology changed washing machines and added safety as a feature you could leave the lid open and watch it wash. This was watching time for me. Almost maybe just mesmerizing. Got a washing machine with a see-through lid a couple years back and was excited. Todays machines dont seem to aggitate the same as the old ones. Edited because I cant type for shit

Stinks when most of your friends are wealthier than you and they talk about trips and purchases that you can't afford.
 in  r/RandomThoughts •  24d ago

Don't let that envy cloud your ambition. Those wealthy friends probably felt the way you do right now before they got to where they are now. You got this. You too can be more financially stable and take trips. Trust the process

I'm gonna forget what being a teenager feels like and that makes me uncomfortable
 in  r/RandomThoughts •  24d ago

Being a teenager is/ was like 9/11. You will never forget. Maybe a bad reference because you aren't old enough to remember that although im sure you get the reference. And real soon ( a few short years from now) you'll be saying something along the lines of 'jesus kids these days are such assholes' then boom you'll remember when you were one and that you were one. It happens so fast too. Dont blink. You'll be 40 next week kid

You hand to use cotton in your search if you want anything natural. This industrial society doesn't want you to know the real stuff still exists but it does

Wouldn't life be so much better if mental illness wasn't so stigmatized?* Fixed it for ya ;)

while I enjoy a good "human versus aliens who are far superior to the human" story, I also feel like I need a good story where alien and human are on more "realistically" even playing fields
 in  r/RandomThoughts •  Sep 05 '26

Now tweak this thought/ statement just a bit by acknowledging that this is already a reality and we are one with them and they with us. They walk among.. or perhaps we walk among them. Maybe everyone we think we know is in fact an other wordly inhabitant that has been placed or assigned or scheduled to spend this part of their existence here as one of us...

Nostalgia hurts my heart so bad
 in  r/RandomThoughts •  Sep 05 '26

Have you ever watched the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? This is almost exactly the main characters conundrum as well. Great watch and quite interesting how they manipulate the psyche in the film. Jim Carrey is the main character by the way. Not a funny haha movie at all.

People pronounce the “g” in agnostic, but not in gnostic.
 in  r/RandomThoughts •  Sep 05 '26

You find people in the wild who discuss gnosticism openly AND they dont use the g when pronouncing?
