Russia Is Integrating AI Models into Its Cognitive Warfare Campaign Against Ukraine
The tactic existed even before the current boom in generative AI. Small Russian groups would try to infiltrate far ahead between Ukrainian positions, reach a building or the outskirts of a settlement, unfurl a Russian flag in front of a drone camera, and immediately flee or, more often, be killed shortly afterward. The mere appearance of the flag would then be used as evidence that Russia supposedly controlled the settlement.
But now there is no longer always a need to send a soldier with a flag one can simply be generated.

Надія.
That's her name. She lived in Kramatorsk her whole life. She got traumatized during the first modern russian invasion of Ukraine in 2014 and never been the same. And trauma only grew.
Now she is forced to leave. Russians bombed her home. Then russians bombed the home of the relatives she moved in with after. Russians want Hope dead. Russians simply despise the idea of Hope existing in this world.
But Hope is alive.
And Hope was born here, in Ukraine.
