Damn man, the emotion I get seeing this. I knew the game was being remade but hadn't seen anything about it at all until today and I'm utterly blown away.

More monies I need to spend now lol

Ha, I'm so out of the loop on things like that nine times out of ten.

I figured I was at most a week or two behind and at the least a day or two.

I’ve been out of video games for a long time, so when I heard they were remaking this for the switch, I genuinely thought it would be a carbon copy of the N64 but less blocky lol

Kinda the same but I had a lot of emotion playing Animal Crossing New Horizon when it came out. I had SOOO much nostalgia around the Gamecube AC, it was my comfort game for so much of my childhood. I cared for that town like it was my hometown, fell in love with every character and had a little life I was so happy with and proud of on that game.

Played the new AC when it came out, and exploring the museum made me get misty eyed, haha. I almost cried when I saw one of my favorite villagers again.

Not as nostalgic as Zelda is for so many, but it's crazy how some of these remasters/sequels/whatever can stir up emotion.

My AC game cartridge thing got stolen after a month, so I haven't been able to play it again, but I'll never forget how emotional I was running around that stupid museum 6 years ago haha. I'm excited to play it again some time with all the new update they've added.
