Self-Promo I hate the pay-per-chapter system. So I built an official, subscription-only platform.

Hey everyone,

What the title says. Subscription-only. No coin/gem/key system. Extra feature to ‘leave tips’ for a series, if you want to. No ads either.

With the mods’ blessings, I have been given permission to talk about my platform: Tsuki Comics (click to view the website)

I have established contact with Bilibili, Kuaikan, and Kadokawa. If this venture turns out to be successful, we plan to branch out into novels and manga print releases. In fact, I have already indicated this to the publishers mentioned, and they have agreed to cooperate when the time comes.

I’m aware that we’re starting with a small launch roster, but I hope this can be the beginning of something big and lasting.

Every chapter has been handled by a human team. No AI used in the localization process.

The early days are going to be the most challenging, but it’s also the most crucial period for the platform for licensing more titles and meeting the operational costs. I’m hoping we can build Tsuki into something special together, and having your support from the very beginning would mean more than you know. Even simply being there for the launch, spreading the word, sharing your feedback, and following our social media platforms can make a world of difference.

Additionally, we have a page where you can suggest licenses, and we will be hosting discussions and votes on our Discord server before licensing a series.

"Provide examples where the em dashes aren't being used correctly"?????

AI also uses em dashes perfectly? This is not the right argument, rather I would ask why there's quite a few em dashes throughout the site... gives the AI suspicion

I never said they were used incorrectly, I was just questioning why there's quite a few of them

Another thing that makes me think AI are the gradients with the buttons, although that is a much smaller tell then the use of em dashes in quite a few places

To add on, the dot in between the genres (ik ur prob thinking there's no way), but AI typically does that...

I do want to acknowledge that I could be wrong, as well as point out you could be as well, as we both lack proof. Thus, we can't debate on anything until OP gives the template (which he said he would), so let's just wait :)

You're the one accusing it of being AI. You have the burden of proof, not me. Em dashes being used correctly is not a valid argument because, gasp, some people do know how to use them correctly. Get this: AI learned from people and things made by people. I have no skin in this game, but I hate people who call out things for being AI without concrete evidence, ruining reputation for no reason. Artists have been canceled over stuff like this, and it's not cool.

I agree but there’s no way for me to “prove” it’s AI… there’s no ai detectors and stuff for websites

I agree that I would have to provide the burden of proof, and this is an accusation, but I do wonder why OP hasn’t posted the template yet? Doesn’t this make you question what happened?

Also I gave more things besides the em dashes; namely being the gradients for buttons and squares as well as the dot between the genres which i believe a typical ai tell

I don’t understand why you are defending bro to an absurd degree when the template he said he’d send isn’t sent yet 😭.

I think there’s no point stretching this argument for too long let’s just wait and see. I get I’m “ruining” his reputation but if he was legit he’d be able to post all this as well as evidence he made it and get his reputation fixed and stronger as well…

Anyways let’s just wait brotato 😊

Hey... hey... Guess what? Op said it was modified from a template and they'd ask their dev about it. People have lives off Reddit, so you must have patience. It's not defending to absurd degree when it's basically just calling out your asanine reasoning.

Bro I’ve been the one saying let’s just wait 😭

Also it is defending to a big degree considering your claim is possibly as baseless as mine… anyways no point (as I’ve said a thousand times before) talking abt this let’s just wait

Their claim was just that there's no proof and you're just starting a witch hunt over fairly normal use of em dashes. Because not every use of em dashes are AI, people have been using them for a long time. It's honestly really annoying having to go back and edit my content to remove em dashes because I get accused of being AI because I'm writing in the way I've been writing for decades. Whether they're ai or not is besides the point, you're not getting down voted because we believe it's not AI or have proof it's not AI, but because of a baseless witch hunt for using standard industry conventions. Now yes, it's possible it's ai, but... That's because AI copied those very industry conventions!

The em dashes, the gradients for the buttons, and the dot between the genres are all my tells...

Trust me, I don't care about AI usage imo, I do use and see it a lot for work/stuff so it's really easy to to easily tell whether something is AI or not... but claiming it isn't AI when it is just doesn't sit right with me.

I agree there's no "proof" because I can't obtain proof any reasonable way lol. This is one thing you can't prove it's AI before accusing... that's why these accusations are different...

With that being said, I understand ur point, but there's no way to "prove" this other than the claims.

to add it's been 3 days, I think either bro accepted the template was AI or acknowledged something else
