For the Month of October we need an indie and a corpo webtoon to be selected!

GHOSTS AND GOBLINS, GHOULS AND BATS! SEND US YOUR FAVs WHEREVER YOU'RE AT!

For October we will be asking that you send in your Horror, thriller, fantasy, supernatural, sci-fi and mystery favorites if you could! It's not a hard rule, after all, the draw IS random.. but if you have a haunted title you'd been wanting to push, this is the month for it!

We randomly will still be selecting one from each category in order to give every series a fair shake! ( Indie series means it's not contracted currently by a company, and corp means they're currently contracted by a large company ie, Webtoons, Manta, so on )

For those of you recommending a series, please provide the name and a usable link to the series!

Take this as a chance to show yourself off as well! Maybe you'll find something new to read!

^{note: this is NOT meant to be a popularity contest, highlighting new series to read or check out is the point!}

Submissions will close midnight EST on 9/30 and the webtoons of the month will be posted before 10/2 and will remain up through the month of October.

RULES:

1. Series that have won in the last six months are ineligible for recommendation!
2. Completed Webtoons that are locked behind "daily pass" or pay features are ineligible
3. Please only recommend ONE Webtoon from each category ( Corporate/Indie)
4. Should a series be recommended more than once, each recommendation will count, increasing their chance in the final draw
5. Each recommendation should include a LINK to the comic suggested.
6. Comics with obvious use of AI generation are disqualified (NEW)

Hello r/webtoons!

Happy October! We wanted to bring back Webtoon of the Month along with Indie Webtoon of the Month. If you have a favorite series you think deserves the spotlight, we’d love to hear your suggestions!

Phantom Whisper

by moonkyoung kim and updated every Thursday

In the mood for beautiful art, a thrilling murder mystery and a absolutely addicting storyline? This Webtoon had my stomach in a knot, stressed as I sped through each chapter NEEDING to know what happened next. It's perfect for this spooky season!

For the Month of February we need an indie and a corpo webtoon to be selected!

To try something new, we're going to randomly select one from each category in order to give every series a fair shake! ( Indie series means it's not contracted currently by a company, and corp means theyre currently contracted by a large company ie, Webtoons, Manta, so on )

For those of you recommending a series, please provide the name and a usable link to the series!

Take this as a chance to show yourself off as well! Maybe you'll find something new to read!

Submissions will close midnight EST on 1/31 and the webtoons of the month will be posted as of the 2/2 and will remain up through the month of February.

Thank you so much for your input and we will be using this model going forward.

For the Month of March our Webtoons are...!

I'm the Grim Reaper

and

Where we Stop Over (Indie)

Congratulations!!

And for anyone who may wish to put themselves or others forth for April, keep an eye out for my post at the end of this month!

For the Month of April our Webtoons are...!

Winter Woods

and

Black Box (Indie)

Congratulations!!

And for anyone who may wish to put themselves or others forth for May, keep an eye out for my post at the end of this month!

Keep an eye out when we select the webtoons of the month for March! We want to have a fair system so we will be using the randomizer!

ZORYA is the Indie webtoon for Febuary

and

Lady Liar is the Corporate webtoon of the Month!

Thank you all for the amazing suggestions!

Happy Saturday! It's a new month, and that means it's time to recommend a new Webtoon! Tired of the same old character designs? The stoic black haired lead with zero personality? Well try.....

Morgana and Oz

^{created by Miyuli and updated every Monday
Suggested by Background-Diet-4703}

Morgana and Oz is a refreshing take on romance.
Morgana is an empathetic witch, kind and just a little naive. Oz is a short vampire raised by werewolves. He’s shy, gentle, and incredibly supportive. Their dynamic is a fresh of breath air. But the plot between Werewolves, Vampires and a nosy government agent will keep you reading along with beautiful art.

We are trying to bring back Webtoon of the Month, this is an experiment / trial-period. If it works out well, we will keep doing. Thanks for your participation to everyone, we have everyone suggested saved from October and will try polling soon. Happy reading!

Previous Webtoon of the Month:
October: Phantom Whispers

Happy Saturday! A bit of a belated post this month, but I still wanted to recommend a Webtoon for the rest of December! I’ll be back on track in January with submissions from everyone's suggestions. For the rest of the month, I’d like to highlight...

Mage and Mimic

from our fellow mod Feathermagus. It’s always exciting to have a Webtoon creator on the mod team, and their story might be coming to an end so, definitely worth checking out!

(Updates every Monday and Thursday)

Synopsis: Mage and Mimic is a dungeons and dragons style version of the Little mermaid. It's jam-packed with comedy as it follows the adventures of a Mimic named Muir tired of her life in a dungeon that's meet a handsome mage named Rowan who might be her ticket out. "But things are rarely that simple, when her goal is in reach, a wicked curse throws a wrench in their plans. Together, maybe the Mage and the Mimic can find a way to have it all!"

Happy Holidays!-Webtoons Mods

Previous Webtoon of the Month:
October: Phantom Whispers
