I was thinking they are. Waiting for the winter and building up an arsenal of drones. Possibly unjamable AI assisted drones they’ve tested. It makes sense since they are pissed off by deep strikes from Ukraine on their side and bring the war closer to home for people in Russian who had been shielded from propaganda and lack of air raid sirens etc. It’s costing them an arm and a leg. Literally and figuratively speaking plus moral is low.

You can still use drones in winter. I think that Ukraine will do that to try to stop any Russian drone buildup. That all depends on how far away Russia sets up their drone facilities. Ukraine builds some of the best drones on the planet and can build them quickly.

That’s very true and they do indeed make some of the best and most cost effective ones at that. I’m just saying they also have a very impressive jaming network so Russia relies on close range fibre optic cables but distance and proximity makes the operators exposed. The new domestically produced AI drones don’t need an operator hence could go anywhere and not get jammed so that concerns me. Better at avoiding counter strike drones too using obstacle avoidance systems.
