and it's pronouced, "Urinus, not Uranus." .../s
Which now that I spell it out and look at it; isn't much better.. however, Niel DeGrass Tyson says we've all been pronouncing it wrong, but maybe we just don't wanna be right (this one time)?

But UR-in-us and ur-AY-nus are correct and accepted pronunciations. Both are listed in the dictionary. And, as you say, it sounds a bit wrong either way.

I named my one dev server Uranus, so if someone asks for information I can tell them "Check Uranus"

I think my proctologist played this same video during my colonoscopy. Not sure, I was pretty drugged up at the time.

If we could change the name what should it be?
Edit: I was actually asking for legitimate names. I should have known better.

Logically, it should be Caelus. Mercury = Hermes, Venus = Aphrodite, Mars = Ares, Jupiter = Zeus, Saturn = Cronos, Caelus = Uranus, Neptune = Poseidon
Uranus is the only one with the Greek name, the rest have the Roman equivalent.

There should be a subreddit for Uranus...
I wouldn't be surprised if Uranus already has one?

Thanks. But you could have just asked for nudes like a normal person, not sent the James Webb Space telescope.

Astronomers renamed Uranus to end that stupid joke once and for all. It's now called Urectum.
