This is not meant to be political, I’m a genuine fan and have been for 20 years.

I’m really bummed that the hurricanes took away pride night. As a queer fan it really made me feel apart of the team and always had so much fun. Idk it’s hard being a woman liking sports so much. I was so proud of my team for it.

Just makes me really sad. Dumb of me for expecting better I guess.

They now have jerseys! And shirseys! And their inventory that was already amazing is continuing to grow and grow. Amazing for those of us over here in Charlotte!

Just as we all predicted.

A little repost from my X, Queen of the Puck, during today's pregame

Hurricanes Hockey Network is out here celebrating Hanna Yates' birthday whether she wants it or not--they brought her a cake, candles, and everything🎂🤣

Small sample size, lot of personal bias. Kid has played well the last few, and is looking like a pretty good 4C. He’s still not at his potential but he’s building up.

I’m still not sure if he’s got a future with us, but has been a great injury filler for us (last year too, his name’s on the cup). If he continues decent play he’s building up trade value, and hopefully if he’s traded it will work out for both player and team.

If we do decide to keep him, hopefully he continues to provide a consistent bottom 6 center.

Please be nice to your fellow caniacs

Nikolaj Ehlers played hero for the Canes today in his second trip back to the city he spent a decade in--I have the story, and the clips!

I can't really say what, other than I work on the charitable side of things. We were gifted a bunch of canes things that were branded straight from the team. Being a Major League Canes fan I know that they don't bother to certain items for the players, but they dress them repeatedly in attire for interviews and what not.

I got this in 2019. Really before anyone outside of Raleigh knew who he was. The minute I turned it over and saw his number. I begged my boss if I could have it. Not knowing any better. He gave it to me. I think about that a lot... There were a lot of things from that time period in that stash, athletic shoes from backup goalies, t-shirts, hats... You wouldn't know that they were official except for the numbers put in the top of them.

Obviously in 2026 Aho is my favorite player and this is my favorite piece of memorabilia I own. What's yours?

Seriously - are they breathing functioning human beings? Literally not one person cheering or making any noise at all. Sounds like a library in there.

Moved to British Columbia from NC earlier this year and will be flying in to Vancouver for the game. Any other Caniacs gonna be there?

Welcome to the State Fair road trip: five road games in eight days, beginning with an early start in Winnipeg today, and a back to back in Calgary tomorrow. Naturally we begin it against a team that never seems interested in making our lives easy, although, last time we played them (my bday last year) Jarvy gifted me a new hat after I had to throw my old one for his hat trick.

The good news is we’re riding six straight, Fishy is on a seven-game point streak, Jankowski can’t stop scoring, and Jarvy is along for the ride in his hometown. The bad news is the early season injuries have started, with Staal and Hall out for some amount of time, but the silver lining is we finally get some NHL ice time this year for FUS and Nadeau. So get ekow early and let's show the Jets what's up!!!

It shall be mine. Oh yes.

Anyone watching the game right now hear that Hum feedback noise during the broadcast? For the money they are charging to watch games, I feel we should hear that.

I can’t find online any guidance how to align the Stanley cup patch on a red jersey with no captain letters. I guess my biggest question is if the patch is aligned with the collar seam above it, if so it would be a little crooked with the rest of the jersey. Want to get it right before I commit to gluing it down

If anyone is going to the Calgary game tomorrow, we will be going to the Ship and Anchor on 17th Avenue before the game if you want to meet up. Should be there before 4:30 MST wearing our Canes jerseys.

The wife and I make an annual trip up from Charlotte to see a game every January over our anniversary. Last year, she suggested we take our travel trailer and camp. We stayed at a campground in the Four Oaks area last year. It was not bad, but I was curious if there's a closer campground that's open in January. Preferably with full hookups. The pic is from the last trip.

Thinking of going to Canes-Panthers game in Florida, any advice appreciated.

I live in RDU area. The Winnipeg Jets is blacked out on Prime Video and ESPN+

Is anyone else locally experiencing this? This is why I paid 99 USD for HHN on Prime Video

Sounds like we will be seeing some interesting lineup changes against the Jets as the Canes open their road trip...lots of details, injury updates, and notes for tonight's game!
