I got hit by my own dad just because I told him to stop watching misogynistic videos on Facebook. Those videos say things like, “If a wife talks back to her husband, it means she’s cheating on him,” and other disgusting things that blame women for everything.

When I asked him to stop watching that kind of content, he hit me hard in the face and on my hand, leaving scratches. I never thought my own father would hurt me like this just for speaking up against something so wrong.

It hurts even more when the person who is supposed to protect you is the one who makes you feel unsafe. I’m so heartbroken and overwhelmed that I don’t even know what to do anymore. After everything that happened, I honestly feel like I don’t want to live anymore.
