Hello! I wanted to share my knit sweater I designed and made for the Ohio Show today. It’s the first sweater I’ve ever designed and it was a lot of fun so I wanted a cute name for it. Was thinking “Fairly Local” but that doesn’t feel imaginative enough. Thanks!

Edit: if anyone has 2 seats lower bowl no one is sitting in send me a DM. I feel bad for my 16 year old daughter. I got her here. We flew in, hotel, car rental but if she could see the stage I wouldn't feel like a failure honestly. Even 1 seat I can point her to and I can stay where I'm at just DM me.

We got to Columbus yesterday after an 11 hour drive from New York. It was brutal. We drove through heavy rain for hours and I was so fatigued when we finally made it but on the way here we saw a fellow clique trooping it through the heavy rain and traffic jams. I gotta say I’m jealous I didn’t pick this plate for my car but it’s awesome. Whoever you are, enjoy the show and just know it’ll be worth it!

Like it kind of makes me feel like a chud with how upset I am about it 😂

I was supposed to go. Columbus is about an 8-9 hour drive from where I live so I was going to leave Friday/yesterday morning. Only problem was that I needed a ride, I was unable to go alone because I don’t have a car atm. I had plans with someone for about 2 months now, and Thursday night they say “I don’t feel good, I’m sick, and I don’t wanna sit in a car for hours” (they really aren’t that sick in my opinion, just a cough and stuffy nose, and why do you not want to sit in a car for 8-9 but you’ll sit on the sofa and not move for 15😬) so plans were just cancelled all of a sudden without any kind of warning.

Obviously I’m upset, anybody would be given the situation, but I feel like I’m too upset?

Thankfully we hadn’t gotten our tickets yet. We were going to buy them Friday morning before leaving so they’d hopefully be cheaper since it was the day before (they were) so at least we didn’t lose money. The tickets I wanted were still on there this morning, too, and just got bought a couple hours before the concert.

I think part of me is really upset because it was such a sudden change of plans so last minute when I was already so excited but I think I’m also upset just because of how boring I feel like my life is.

I’ve been struggling with my mental and physical health for years. Mentally I always feel like nothing really excites me, and even when I’m having fun with people I just can’t wait to be alone again. I function fine on a daily basis but most nights I just lay in bed staring at the ceiling thinking about how much the day sucked even if nothing bad happened. I don’t do anything other than my daily loop robotic routine and I finally had something to be excited about and then poof it was gone.

Also with how I’ve been struggling with my physical health, is that I feel like soon, I’m not going to physically be able to do things like concerts. I’m very young, yet I have so many chronic(?) issues that affect my life on a daily basis. “Chronic” with a “?” because I can’t get a single doctor to diagnose me with anything, but I’ve done enough research on my symptoms to think I have a few different chronic diseases. Women’s healthcare, am I right? I have stomach issues, uterine issues, and joint & bone problems that I’ve been dealing with for years that no doctor seems to care about and refuse to test me for anything. I had to have my gallbladder removed in February because it was basically killing me.

My energy drains so easy with the pain I’m always in, and within the next few years it’s only going to get worse, and soon, I don’t think I’ll be able to handle concerts and such anymore. (Also I’ve never been to a concert so I want to be able to experience things before I can’t anymore).

Sorry, I didn’t mean to dump my troubles lmao ✌️ Just wondering if anyone else is really really upset about not being able to go, and wanted to give my reasons why so people didn’t think I was just being spoiled or anything.

I know a lot of people are just going because of Lavish, but this is some of the best fish and chips I've had. It was FAST, everyone is so so kind, and apparently you can juice a Guava! The outside seating isn't crowded cause it's a little chilly if you're worried about that part!

These are just renders on a computer, but I'm wondering what other fans think. Any other easter eggs or details I could include?

I was at bandito camp earlier and left around 2. I got in line around 12 and have been hanging around there since. But unfortunately I left in tears.

I brought my ukulele from home and have been practicing my tøp songs in the 6 hour drive to Colombus (my mom drove). I was so excited to play some songs with other people at my first Bandito Camp. But when I got to the circle of music where people were playing, it was very hard to join. It was the same people in that circle for at least the 2 hours I saw. I tried sitting outside the circle and playing along to some of the songs at first but they kept switching in between songs and discussing what to play between themselves. I eventually got to sit in the circle and i had my ukulele out and also some sheet music I brought just in case. But no one acknowledged my existence. I really wanted to join in and play some songs but they were playing songs I didn't know and were only talking between themselves of what songs to play next. I wasn't able to suggest any that I knew how to play. I sat there holding my ukulele trying to engage with them until I gave up and left.

Maybe I read the situation wrong, maybe I didnt try hard enough to join in or engage, maybe im too autistic (not using this as an insult. i am autistic), I dont know. The one place I thought i could fit in I felt so rejected. Didn't know the clique could be so clicky. No hate to any individuals. They played great music, i just felt a little left out.

And then right before I left i dropped my bag of bracelets to trade and someone took them in the minute it took me to realize. I asked the staff if anyone turned them in but nothing so I left.

But I did meet a lot of really nice clikkies and am looking forward to meeting more at the show!

Things I’m saying out loud as I pack my travel Tylenol, ear plugs, and put arch supports in my Vans. Cheers to the “Oldies” heading to the show tonight. We’re still awesome, even if we opted for a seat instead of GA and need a little extra support to get through shows.
