What is your favorite character Kit design from MOBAs, Hero Shooters, Fighting Games.
In your opinion, what is the best designed Character Kit for a playable character in a Game. I'm mostly thinking about multiplayer PvP games, but other games might also be cool. Factors for me are:
Creativity: How much does the character expand what is possible to do in a game? Do they twist existing elements in interesting ways.
Cohesion: Do all the parts of the kit work together, both on a gameplay and thematic level? Are there little to no superfluous elements?
Theme: Does the kit reflect the characters's personality and power set well? Do you "feel like the character"?
Balanced: Is the character constantly considered either overpowered or underpowered? Is it fun to go up against them whether they're strong or not?
Depth: What is the mastery curve of the character like? How much hours can you sink into them and still get better?
My personal favorite character Kit is Wrecking Ball from Overwatch. The fact that they made a character who uses physics-based movement work at all is impressive to me but they also made a very cohesive character concept around the idea of a playable Wrecking Ball
