I better not see another one of y'all talking about this or any of our rivalries being dead.

I know some of y'all brought that attitude into the stadium too because I was there and it felt like we were playing Vandy again with how little energy the crowd had for 3 quarters.

Everyone needs to calm down. This was an all time chaotic day for a lot of teams. We at least have a bye week. Dawgs need some rest.

• Upvotes

Look what happened to Texas

Look what happened to Alabama

That was an emotional game last week

Sometimes you need a loss to humble yourself

Georgia has a bye week to rest and recover and hit the re-set button

Kirby and the coaching staff, and the players will take this as something to learn from and grow together

It’s going to be okay

The sky isn’t falling

If you had too much to drink tonight, sleep in tomorrow and maybe go for a walk tomorrow and realize that it’s all going to be okay

Go Dawgs

Its fine. Win some and you lose some. Try losing to the gators for years.

This was a full team loss. And that’s ok

The defense, the offense, special teams.

The OC. The DC.

Kirby.

Every single person in this game deserves blame. This was always gonna be tough. Watching bama and UGA this week makes me think the physicality of that game was somehow underestimated.

But there’s no excuses. It’s a home game vs a bad Auburn team.

I trust Kirby to ensure this adversity is properly used. Everyone get your anger and frustration out tonight. Let’s not gonna spend the next two weeks shit talking Gunner or the defense. They didn’t play to the standard. They know it.

Let’s rally and finish the year strong after the bye.

Football It is normal to have a loss in this playoff format.

Ohio State has one, Alabama has two, Texas has two, Notre Dame or Miami is going to have at least one.

Two years ago, Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois and made the national championship game.

What matters is how we respond. We have a bye and then we have a beatable Florida. We were a bounce of the ball away from recovering that fumble and kicking our own game winning field goal.

Football Kirby is going to have to start asking tough questions about Schumann. Allowing Auburn to run for the yardage they needed as opposed to making them throw it on the last drive is a fireable offense.

I'm willing to hear counter arguments, but this isn't about which side of the ball was worse today. There was plenty of bad to go around.

I'm not sure our D has performed up to its talent under Schumann in general though, and this is kind of the straw that broke the camel's back for me. We'd found something that worked, something we could execute, on D in the second half. Instead of sticking to that and making Auburn make clutch throws with the game on the line, we assumed they were throwing and let them run. If they drop back and pick you apart on that last drive, you tip your cap and sleep well knowing you played the numbers. 5 men in the box to give up a run for around 15yds on the very first play is inexcusable. I could maybe see it if they had to travel the full field, but they had 3 TOs to get 20-25yds with a full minute left. You have to stick to what's been working in that scenario.
