Rewatching Free Agents and they just showed the Jordan flashback where he said that line, so funny. What are some of your favorite dumb/hilarious lines challengers have said about themselves?

Doing my rewatch of my favorite seasons and I'm kinda new to posting on Reddit. But I find it funny how everyone likes to blame Cara Maria and Paulie for the divide on team USA, but nobody mentions the fact that Laurel took what she heard from Kyle of all people and thought it was solid intel. Kyle fed Laurel false information about Wes' alliance, and Laurel drew the line down the sand immediately after. Kyle was the mastermind, the rift in team USA was there from the beginning, then when Laurel and Josh threw down Wes, and then immediately after threw the next daily challenge to put in Cara/Ninja it was solidified. They only got upset because Laurel ended up losing to Ninja and then Johnny went home immediately after. Laurel, Johnny, Jordan, and Tori were all going to do the same thing to Cara, Paulie, Kam & Ninja but Cara and Paulie beat them to it. Now while this is one of my favorite seasons, it's also a really tough watch because everyone was insufferable, not just Cara and Paulie. Jordan was a dick from the get-go, and I find it funny how he he was the main one that wanted CT to go to the other side and he was also the main one so vocal about wanting to get all of Wes' alliance out of the house only to end up not only running the final with them and CT, but winning with them as well. Tori wanted to act like she was above it all, but couldn't see the fact that her boyfriend was a huge dick to anyone who he felt like was inferior to him and his girlfriend. He called Ninja and Cara and Kam layups and said that Josh and Nany were not. The best season that Nany ever had was World of the Worlds one, and it's because Turbo carried her all the way through it. Josh is a good guy and he has a lot of heart, but to say that he's not a layup but Kam, Ninja and Cara Maria are is absolutely insane. Everyone on team USA had their issues and they all had a part in essentially making Cara Maria the the way she was on that season. They all had issues with her from prior seasons and brought that shit to World of the Worlds two and when they backed her into a corner, she fought her way out and took out some valuable challengers along the way. Granted there were times that she was just completely unbelievable and seemed more miserable than usual, but you don't get to dump on a person season after season and think that they're supposed to treat you with kindness and respect when it was never given to her in the first place. Years of disrespect, torment, and just all around rude ass behavior made Cara the way she was on war of worlds 2, and I'm not saying it was right. I'm just saying the girl had her reasons. Let's talk about it

Hold up, hold up, hold up. Winning a daily doesn’t ensure your safety? What a joke. Might as well call the daily a glorified workout. Whoever production head leading this season HAS to be fired. Probably a bigger head pulling the strings, but either way the Challenge needs a MASSIVE comeback season after this snooze fest. The Challenge is rooted in rewarding daily challenge victors with safety.
And no guy physical eliminations? This is crazyyy soft. Tori volunteering for elimination is highlight of season. So awesome sending that fiery cheater home.

Bananas

14th total final (most all time), 12th flagship final (most all time). He's made the final in exactly half the seasons he's been on (28 total seasons and 24 flagship seasons). This is his 5th final in his last 7 seasons (made it on Total Madness, Ride or Dies, USA2 and Battle of the Eras, missed World Championship and Vets & New Threats) after missing 7 of his previous 8, including 6 missed flagships in a row.

Looking for 9th total win (most all time), 8th flagship win (most all time). In every season Bananas has won, he has won an elimination (beat Cedric this season)

CT

13th total final (2nd most all time), 11th flagship final (2nd most all time). Looking for 8th total win and 6th flagship win (2nd most all time).

This is the 10th time CT has made the final without going into elimination, and the 12th time he’s made it going into the minimum amount of eliminations (including Invasion of the Champions and Double Agents). The only time he made the final where he went into elimination when it wasn’t required was his rookie season on The Inferno (he had the Life Shield and went in for David Burns, beating Shane).

CT has never gone more than two shows in a row without making a final (missed Battle of the Eras and Vets & New Threats)

Cara Maria

12th total final (most all time by a woman, 3rd all-time overall), 10th flagship final (most all time by a woman, 3rd all time overall). Looking for 4th total win (most all time by a woman) and 3rd flagship win (tied for most all time by a woman with Veronica, Evelyn and Rachel).

Not including Vets & New Threats where she left voluntarily, this is the 8th final Cara Maria has made in her last 9 shows dating back to Champs vs. Pros, which is a Challenge record breaking Kenny Santucci’s 7/8 record.

It is her 6th flagship final in her last 7. Like CT, Cara Maria has never missed the final more than two seasons in a row (the only time it happened was Battle of the Exes and Battle of the Seasons).

Tori

8th total final (2nd most all time by a woman, tied for 4th with Wes all time overall, behind only Bananas, CT and Cara). 6th flagship final (2nd most all time by a woman, tied for 5th all time with Jordan overall, behind only Bananas, CT, Cara Maria and Kenny).

This is Tori’s 6th straight final (SLA, Ride or Dies, World Championship, USA2, Battle of the Eras), tied with Kenny and behind only Cara Maria, who has the record with 7. Looking for 2nd win.

Adrienne

2nd final, looking for 1st win. The only other women to make finals in her first two flagship seasons (with eliminations) are Coral, Susie, Laurel, Emily S, Devyn Simone, Jenna, Nicole Z, Ninja and Kaycee.

(Desi also made her first two finals on the USA series, Sarah L made the finals on USA1 and World Championship, Kaz made the finals of UK and World Championship, and Sam McGinn made the finals on Battle of the Seasons and All Stars 5)

Michele

2nd final, looking for 1st win.

She is the only person in Challenge history to miss the final their first 4 seasons and then make 2 flagship finals (Jonna made three finals in a row on All Stars after missing the final in her first 5 flagship seasons, and Derek Chavez missed the final on his first four shows and then made the final on All Stars 4 and Battle of the Eras. Tony also didn't make the final on his first four seasons and then made the final on Vendettas and Champs vs. Stars 2, but he was medically DQ'd on Bloodlines, so I don't really count that)

Michele is the only woman this season to make the final who didn't go into elimination

Lete

1st final. The last rookie woman to win a flagship season is Amber B on Double Agents

Will and Cassidy

1st final

I mean i get it, Justin is gay, so am I but why is there always a need to do it for the community? The community doesn’t even care if ur a jerk like Justin or a wimp like Corey L. It’s like thats their only personality and the only thing they think about and it’s getting tiring because it literally gets mentioned every time.

We already have 2 awesome, amazing gay men in the late Tyler and D Chavez. Yes they are gay but there’s so much more to them other than that and most importantly they are top tier challengers compared to Justin and Corey L.

I can see how in today’s world, it may be off putting(Adrienne has put in work this season) it’s good that it’s almost jarring to hear her. The Challenge was like this

After bananas beat Cedric in that elim after we see lete yelling bulllshitt n bananas tells her she hasn’t been there long enough to be talking shit , on his podcast they discuss that scene where she says the game was paused because Cedric was saying the buttons were mal functioning but bananas says Cedric just was slapping them frantically n bananas was making sure to hit them properly, I’m glad they talked about this part cuz I thought it was random for her to say that at the elim

From the least to most:

#15. Justin - A uniquely unlikable human being and not in a remotely fun way. But I have him last due to his defense of Jerry Harris and his complete lack of regret.

#14. Josh - Completely derailed 42 with his ignorance, I find him charmless and humorless. He doesn't deserve a second chance.

#13. Brad - I do love Brad, but he's cooked. It's time to retire from the flagship and hope AS6 gets made.

#12. Reilly - I truly think she has potential. She was a decent competitor and showed some fire. I just think she absolutely gets forgotten.

#11. Izzy - I think I could see her once more. But also, she has no real story or growth even possible? Too passive a player and attracted to older men who offer her nothing exciting show-wise.

#10. Cory - I think he needs time off. Get your life together. Coming back so soon would be a mess.

#9. Keanu - Keanu as a personality leaves a lot to be desired, but he did play fearless and I think that deserves a callback.

#8. Chris - I enjoy Chris a lot as a Landon-esque threat in the game. But I fear he's done.

#7. Nelson - It would feel icky if that's how his Challenge career ends. I would like to see Nelson do one more, then hopefully retire from the flagship.

#6. Cedric - He flopped, but there's more there. I want to see him one more time!

#5. Deb - Hilarious, awesome confessionals. I fear her becoming a Vet lackey but she should be a lock for 43.

#4. Leo - Leo is the Young Buck we've been chasing for years. I truly hope he becomes a regular. He's needed on this franchise.

#3. Sydney - She simply adds a lot. 42 felt incomplete as soon as she and Nurys were gone. She plays the villain/Wes role to a T and we need that on The Challenge. You never know how much you need someone to root against until they are gone!

#2. Anna Leigh - Stellar rookie season. Drama AND competition. The modern rookie blueprint. A lock for 43.

#1. Nurys - The Challenge feels incomplete when Nurys isn't in there mixing it up. She has a perma-lock from me for as long as she wants it. I do hope she finds more messy romance on here!

Hey all! I’m a relatively new fan (I’ve loved Big Brother for years and tuned in this year for Keanu, I will say) and I was just wondering what should I watch to fully enjoy the experience and see the “defining moments” of the show. I have watched Battle Of The Eras(first full one, probably a bad one to start with😭😂), Vets Vs New Threats and am currently watching Cutthroat 2 live, of course. Any suggestion is appreciated! Little nitpick, if you could add the season number if you refer to it by the subtitle! Thanks so much!

Do we think this is just another showmance? Seems like he still likes her in real life right now?

I have always liked Cara.. not a huge fan but I’ve always liked her. After finally getting to watch this season it is abundantly clear why she gets the hate that she does. She was insufferable and even Paulie felt it a few times and called her out. I think Nany clocked her when she said she definitely feels that Cara needs to take a break from the show. It also makes Laurels perspective of Cara and their dynamic make a lot of sense, whereas before viewing this season I only saw Cara’s side to it. It seemed like she was being bullied. Boy was I wrong. The red flag always from the beginning for me, was her being a horse girl.. and I should’ve never overlooked that feeling. 😂🐴

Michele is queen on consistently placing better than her previous The Challenge season.

SLA - 14th place female (final 28) - 4 episodes

RoD - 9th place female (final 18) - 8 episodes

USA2 - 6th place female (final 12) - 13 episodes

BfaNC - 6th place female (final 10) - 17 episodes

Eras - 3rd place female (finalist) - 19 episodes

Cuththroat 2026 - secured top 2 finish

Cosistently placing upward in 6 seasons is nearly impossible feat. Possibly one in tens of thousands odds.

This feat is as impressive as 3 different feats she achieved in Survivor US:

1. All time-record most days at 22 days without a single Tribal in Kaoh Rong (thanks to Survivor leaning hard into puzzle and swimming tribal immunities). Proving she can win by outcomping people.

2. Tied with Denise Stapley for all time record of record of most pre-finals tribals at 14 Tribals attended in a single season. Proving her versatility that she can make the finals playing the bottom or underdog position.

3. Along with Joe Hunter, she's one of only two multi-time players never to be voted out or eliminated in any capacity and she did it first.
