From a traditional standpoint, I feel like they tried to censor it to reflect the tradition of sharing a cup of sake with someone you're swearing allegiance to, so it looks proper in the first portion as it's flowing down and kinda see-through

However when it's in the characters hands it should have been clear and reflective like the original, and now it just looks like milk (which dosnt make sense given it was shown to be transparent) or semen (which unfortunately makes more sense given how the 3rd shot is portrayed)

(for context this is a reference to that time the word job was censored practically everywhere for some reason)
