GovBrief Today #624

Today Donald Trump told the people counting California's midterm ballots that they "will all go to jail for a long period of time."
Nobody has charged them with a crime. Yesterday his Justice Department asked a federal judge to stop the state from counting more than 20,000 mail ballots from voters it calls likely noncitizens. Then it warned election officials they could be prosecuted as accomplices if they count them anyway. Trump shared the letter and skipped straight to their punishment.
The warning went to Los Angeles County, the state's largest, which received the government's list on a password-protected thumb drive. Any charges there would come from the federal prosecutor's office in Los Angeles, the same office that filed the day-old lawsuit no judge has ruled on yet.

US Politics Each of them knew it, and knew that Trump was terrible. Download this video and share on your social accounts. Musk pulled it down on X - let’s flood the internet, and his feed with this…

Conversation I really don’t get why people are so hostile toward James Talarico. Disagree with his faith or his politics if you want. But every time I see him, he’s treating people with kindness and respect. When did that become something to be mad about?

Trump rally in Kentucky today...You can really hear the crickets.
Dumpster Donnie was at Truist Arena this afternoon in Highland Heights, Kentucky. This photo was taken about 20 minutes before he came on stage. I'm in (Northern) Kentucky and this is a hardcore red state that gave Mummified Mitch rigor mortis where he needed it the most . But people are really rejecting his bullshit. GO OUT AND VOTE PEOPLE!

Conversation Trump killed his first wife because she found out he was molesting their daughter.
Title says it all. Does anyone actually believe she "fell down the stairs"? See, back then this man's lies and completely disgusting nature were not as well known back then as they are today.
Given his attraction for hia daughter, and his deep hate for women, this seems like less of a theory and more like a statement of fact.
It would not have been unheard of for him to bribe a NYPD detective or two. They were extremely corrupt at the time. We also know he loves to pay people off. Either way, his first wife was probably trafficked just like his second, and in death, she deserved better.
Does the title of this post ring true for anyone else? Anyone know of any evidence that helps prove it?

US Politics Katie Zacharia's farewell photo 'inadvertently provided evidence' against Trump in court
I hope it sticks and those lawyers defending the Felon-in-Chief get disbarred and jailed. Ideally, with their boss too, but I'm not getting my hopes up. #TuckFrump

Trump: I stood right over here and I examined his ass. I never did that. No, I never did that with a man before. I examined his ass; my hand is still recovering.
