This is absolutely my favorite bird I've crocheted so far, although there are a couple things I wish I had done a bit differently. Mostly, I wish I had used a bit darker gray for the head so that the iconic white eye-ring would stand out a bit better. Initially, I felt like the head turned out too tall, but after looking at the finished result I don't think it looks too bad after all. I am very pleased with how the expression (so angy) and tail turned out.

I'm not quite sure which bird I will be doing next, between a Carolina Wren, Tufted Titmouse, or Indigo Bunting.

Some of my photo's from costa rica birding. Arenal and Monteverde.

We have had some new Pine Warbler visitors in the yard who don’t yet realize there are multiple small feeding stations outside of this main one that the cardinals hog😂

We had to move other feeders away from that one to keep them and the blue jays from resource guarding everything for themselves so we have different spots around the front and backyard!

He figured it out shortly after and went to one of the small spots!

A golden-fronted woodpecker and a ladder-backed woodpecker. I wonder if they knew each other were there.

Different species I managed to photograph on today's outing, saw some other species but couldn't get a photo
