Re watcher and manga reader
I really love this slight reprieve from pure action and backstory and or mystery at the start. Its fun seeing everyone get together to try and get Gil's hat back. We need moments like these to actually care for and enjoy being around these characters. Its the slow small moments that make the big moments more impactful.
Seeing Oscar use and abuse Gil and his emotions was great. Like father uncle like son. Oscar was great here. I loved seeing him have heart to hearts with Oz and Gil. The "you are my precious sons" is a precious moment. Only for Alice to feel excluded and run away due to her not knowing how to deal with her emotions.
But now were in Cheshire's lair. This episode is the first time we have truly seen Alice afraid of facing herself. First with her feelings towards Gil and Oz while feeling left out. Second with her realizing these memories are actually ones she may be afraid to retrieve. She actually ran away which seemed damn near impossible before.
But now we've also apparently got Vincent on the move asking Echo to do a favor for him. So we've got Break and Alice in one place. Gil and Oz are on the move. Vincent is doing something that'll be easier with Break away. While Sharon is vibin. So now it'll be interesting to see how this all ends.

I am surprised Oz is willing to head back into town so soon, and risk running into Philippe. Perhaps Philippe is going to be the newest illegal contractor, wanting to get his dad back? That would be a real mind-screw for Oz.
Oz claims not to like violence, but he sure looks like he did something violent to that guys mind...
I knew Gil was going to lose and have to leave it to Alice to win, but an Oscar interrupt was not how I saw it happening
The second Oz said maybe Alice had a plan, I expected the next scene to be an instant loss for Alice, but the result was even funnier. Gil loves that hat so much he released Alices power, therefore shortening the time Oz has left, to get it back... I hope it was worth it.
Noooo, Alice, go and get your headpat too, don't run away in distress! And she was making so much progress too...
The fact that Break only needs one eye hole is fantastic attention to detail... but none for Emily? so mean.
Well, with Emily left behind, that sure disproved my 'Break is a puppet controlled by Emily' theory fast :(
Alice knew the guy in Oz's visions? So we know that he is from 100 years ago too - is he actually still around (contractor, having not aged) and talking to Oz that way, or is he somehow speaking from the past, or from death?
Break really is a clown, calling himself a gentleman...
So, Alice is about to find/recover memories of being the Bloodthirsty Black Rabbit, and Break has been dragged into his own past? Interesting... Also, the fact that the Will of the Abyss appeared to separate from Alice's back... some sort of Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde thing? Could be why the Abyss hates Alice, she gets Oz's affection while the Will doesn't even though they are two sides of the same person.
Sharon really wasn't expecting that instant agreement from Oz :)
Was that a Baskerville robe being worn by the person Vincent was speaking to? So, either Vincent is a bad guy, or infiltrating them...
Also, the cheshire cat apparently being Alice's friend in the past gives more weight to my 'split personality' theory, since we know the cat is close with the Will.

Yup that was a Baskerville robe. And Break DID suggest to Vincent he suspects him of being a mole inside Pandora ...
