Since the anime isn't bound to the turn based nature of the game, the battles against the Shadow feels more dynamic, where now the one whose Shadow is being fought would also interact during the battle.

The Misuzu poster in the anime is redesigned from the version we see in the game.

In the game, the one who tells the students to settle down before the announcement of Saki's death is Ms. Sofue (the history teacher) instead of Morooka in the anime.

The anime didn't show Yosuke and Narukami bringing their weapons before entering the TV world.

In the game, the day the team investigates the death of Saki is the time the protagonist and Yosuke gets their glasses from Teddie, allowing them to see clearly inside the TV world. Since Narukami already got one the day before in the anime, this time only Yosuke who gets the glasses.

The tutorial battle in the game happens before the protagonist and Yosuke enters the TV world version of the Konishi liquor store, where you fight a bunch of those ball shaped Shadows with tongues on it.

That scene where you see scenes on the TV during the fight with Shadow Yosuke is an anime only addition.

Chie's emotion in the anime seems to be more toned down compared to the game. In the game she says "I hate you both" and runs away after Yosuke and you came back from the TV world. In the anime she said that she would forgive Yosuke and Narukami after what happened if they bought her food in return.

In the game, during your walk back home after going to the TV world you'll encounter Yukiko who will have a small talk with you about Chie. Seems like this is not depcited in the anime.

The ending now shows a Magician arcana card, to symbolize Narukami's social link with Yosuke. The scene where Yosuke meets Narukami and establishing the Magician social link is changed from the game, where it happened during a rainy day and without Yosuke riding his bicycle.
