The episode opens with a scene of young Chie and Yukiko and how they met. This is also an anime addition, probably to replace that scene where you talk with Yukiko after Yosuke got his Persona.

The scene where Yosuke tried to smuggle weapons to the TV world would end differently in the anime, in the anime we have Chie coming later to the police office and meeting Adachi who's talking about what's happening with Yukiko and is angry since she thought Adachi was suggesting that Yukiko's involved with the murder of Yamano. In the game this doesn't happen, but instead Chie would suggest the team to go to the Daidara store to get their weapons after they were confiscated.

The scene where Chie went to a monochrome room inside the castle is original to the anime, although the Yukiko monologues during that scene are retained from the game. So does that scene with the many faces in the black background calling to Chie during the Shadow Chie fight.

Realistically, Pyro Jack/Jack'o Lantern is impossible to be obtained that early in the game during the Shadow Chie fight. They could use a lower level Persona like Orobas if they want to use a Persona that could use Agi, but its level also still quite high for an early game Persona (it's level 8).
