Uh…

My subs had "Now let's go meet our dear little Oz," which I think works better.

Seeing Oz fanboy over the next installment in a book series he liked is pretty cute.

He has lots of books to catch up on!

Either they got the poison from Vincent, or Lottie / etc. are the "poison collecting" friends Vincent mentioned.

Elliot knows who the Baskervilles are? He is involved…

They're infamous, it's just most ordinary people would think they haven't been seen for 100 years (since Sablier). But Nightrays are one of the Four Great Dukedoms and connected in Pandora, so it would make sense for him to know.

He’s a Nightray?

And probably one by blood, unlike Gil/Vince.

They immediately got into an argument after running away…

A classic trope but a good one!

18: Elliot & Reo / In Regards to a Certain Servant's Death

  • "meet our dear little Oz" ... are they Baskervilles?

So yeah, I'm still a few eps behind the rewatch atm. I need to rewatch 16-18 so I can read and reply to those threads ... but it's almost 11 PM and I have to get up early for work tomorrow. So I probably won't have time until after work tomorrow, unless I manage to get up real early in the morning.

I slightly disagree here. Oz was the one who brought up the show to Elliot. Saying how big of a fan he is. It had been 10 years so Elliot thought clearly Oz was caught up. If I said Frezia transforms in DBZ at this point its not a spoiler but common knowledge. If you wanna talk about a series and you're not caught up, you gotta let me know at the start otherwise I may inadvertently spoil. A clear mistake on both sides.

I don't know why Lottie was so freaky this episode. Giving Ada poison through mouth to mouth. Licking Oz. Like chill girl.

"act like you don't care what happens to yourself" Elliot is right! Oz's self sacrifice is self gratification?

Elliot clocked Oz's ass HARD this episode.

What is that subtitle??? Toaru Jūsha no Shi ni Tsuite?

  • Imagine coming back after 10 years and finding out Guts is still on the boat.
  • Did you forget you came here to talk to them???
  • I didn't expect the kakkoi mob
  • Just when I was about to give up on the episode, something serious actually happened
  • The tragedy: something something equivalent exchange

It was pretty obvious that he was a nightray, but being a hero wanna be is no better Edgar.

So, he is the heir they needed to pick when Raven stole Raven. He was probably one of the children we saw wait that was too long ago.

Seems like the problems with the Nightrays started with Jack sacrificing himself.

It's interesting that the Baskervilles are wanting answers (from Jack?) about what happened in Sablier; they just acted on Glen's orders and don't know anything else.

The tragedy: something something equivalent exchange

You think it was a sacrifice to obtain the Intention of the Abyss, as Jack stated?

It was pretty obvious that he was a nightray, but being a hero wanna be is no better Edgar.

I've never noticed that. This a wild title and will give Gil fans a heart attack. He apparently has a fan club now.

Thanks! I remembered seeing children but the only one I could picture in my mind was probably Vincent. I guess Reo could be...5? Tops?

I was thinking the exact same thing. Gil left the Vessalius pretty soon after Oz was sent to the abyss so 10 years ago. Elliot is said to be 16 so he was likely around 5-6ish here.
