Genuinely, this is kinda my opinion in a roundabout way.
The existence of genderqueer people actively improves the quality of life for cis people since it challenges the notions of gender that restricts them; femboys are much more accepted now than when I was a kid in large part due to the trans movement, for example.
Obviously trans people deserve their rights for themselves, of course. I just think it's actively beneficial to everyone if they get them, not just them.

I know gender doesn't equal genitals, it's all aesthetics. But it NORMALLY implies they weren't comfortable with their assigned gender to begin with to be able to undergo something so life altering.
At that point when gender identity isn't their concerns, does it not simply become body-modding?
At that point it's whatever.
Ftm still happy with their vaginas isn't the same as a cisguy deciding they want a vagina. There's far more considerations when it comes to change than it is to maintain what is.
It's nobody's business anyway and people can and should have bodily autonomy.
