Wish a queer would do that to me I’d tip extra at my local shave ice place run by one old hawaiian guy who works seven days a week and makes the best boba tea I’ve had in my entire life

Acting like there's literally any difference between neurodivergent queers and the fae

When I went to Ireland for spring break, I went on a tour, and the guide mentioned that the way ancient Irish people explained neurodivergent behavior was through folklore, referring to them “fae touched.” With the long and short of it being the fae took special interest in that child for one reason or another, and swapped the human baby out for a fairy.
I Guess the fae took special interest in me

Wouldn't it technically be that the fae took interest in the person you replaced, and you just are a fae?

That would explain my hesitancy to give my real name to people, opting for a nickname instead…

I’ve never tricked anyone into giving me their name.

It wouldn't be a trick necessarily but if you want you can have mine. I don't use it for much.

Well mine is a given name but I don't use it for much. I can always just use a different one.

I have to wonder how serious those DMs were, some people are crazy.

I mean the fae specifically gave you the coins for looking pretty, which means you've already provided the payment of simply looking pretty. Also even if the pay just gave you the coins, that would be different than you taking food from like a random magical buffet in the middle of the forest. This is because there are different innate implications between the two. One is a direct offer of a gift, as if there is no return cost specified then there is no implication that payment is required; the other is not actively being given out to you, and as such there is no implication that payment isn't required. In fact they're generally is more of an implication that payment is required, or at the very least they are personal property, and the taking of them requires recompense.
