67 or earlier. VW changed the bumpers in ‘68.

Its a false lead as its plausible that the car is simply older than picture as are the background vehicles. To me the belt buckle or if clearly visible, womans watch might be more time specific.

The clothes are mid to late '60s, most likely '67 based on what you'll see bands wearing on album covers and PR shots. Could be extremely hip '66 also. Not yet psychedelic/flower power.
