Whats the point of denying entry making the point about religion....😵‍💫

so the "protectors of Hinduism" are out here doing exactly what they accuse others of. radicalizing a festival that was never rigid to begin with

ngl the whole garba gatekeeping arc is wild. aadhaar checks, tilak at entry, muslim bouncers fired in hyderabad, muslim women with valid tickets turned away in kota, a hindu girl questioned in jamshedpur for showing up with her muslim friend even after her parents said it's fine. and the reason? "religious sanctity." ok let me actually engage with that since apparently nobody else is.

first, the "it's an act of devotion to Durga so non-believers shouldn't be there" argument. bro. gods are not exclusive clubs. you don't need a membership card to show up. sikh langar serves everyone, you don't get asked if you're amritdhari. people eat iftar food during ramadan without converting. nobody checks your aadhaar before letting you eat biryani at a muslim friend's wedding. festivals are not just about the deity, they're about people coming together. and if belief was really the bar, then let's talk about the lakhs of hindus who don't actually believe in Durga. atheists exist. agnostics exist. people go for the dancing and the food and the vibes. so why is the purity test only applied to non-hindus? pick a lane.

second, the "commercialization is ruining tradition" argument. lmao. temples were commercialized way before garba was. VIP darshan, paid aarti slots, ₹500 for a closer look at the idol. where's the outrage about that? commercialization actually made these festivals accessible and fun. festivals shouldn't feel like a school assembly. the spice is the point. obviously there should be limits, nobody wants a full nightclub with a Durga cutout, but using "anti-commercialization" as a cover to filter out muslims is not it. you're not protecting tradition, you're doing bigotry with extra steps.

third, security and identity checks. no take here, honestly. check IDs, do bag checks, keep people safe. that's fine. but notice how the security argument suddenly becomes a religion filter. checking everyone is security. checking only non-hindus is discrimination with a lanyard.

fourth, the "they only come to harass women" argument. this one is genuinely lazy. there are creeps in every crowd. there are hindu men who harass women at garba, there are men of every community who do terrible things. you deal with individuals. you don't blanket ban a whole religion because of the worst people in it. that's like banning all men from the metro because some men are creeps. you'd call that insane and you'd be right.

and the people defending this are the same ones who lose their minds when someone says hinduism is regressive. because hinduism has never been rigid like that. it's famously one of the most flexible, pluralistic, "believe what you want, do what you want" religions out there. you can be a theist, an atheist, a nastika, an agnostic, and still be hindu. that's the actual tradition. the second you start putting up gates and tilak checkpoints and asking people to prove their faith, you're not protecting hinduism. you're inventing a version of it that looks suspiciously like the thing you claim to be defending it from.

so yeah. the protectors are protecting hinduism by making it exactly what they say other religions are. rigid, exclusionary, insecure. congratulations.

the irony is doing push ups in the corner.

for anyone who disagrees, can call me out in comments....i have tried to reply to each point i have heard of...

Plz be critical....✌️✌️✌️

Politics is always DIRTY Where Are the Voters Allegedly Deleted After SIR?

I have a question for everyone supporting CJP and Congress's protests.

As they claim, many legitimate voters have been removed from the electoral rolls after the SIR.

My question is: when the NEET paper was leaked, the protests were led by NEET aspirants and student leaders, right? Fair enough!

So shouldn't the protests at least include representation from legitimate voters whose names have allegedly been wrongfully removed from the electoral rolls? Even if they aren't leading the protests themselves, shouldn't Congress and CJP be bringing some of these affected voters forward?

Even if they don't come forward themselves, why aren't we seeing such voters around us? At the very least, shouldn't CJP and Congress be bringing these people forward, sharing their names, and allowing us to verify whether their names were actually on the electoral rolls before being removed? After all, the electoral rolls are public, right?

And before anyone labels me a BJP Andhbhakt or an Andhbhakt of any political party, let me clarify: I'm neither. I'm not a bot, nor am I part of the BJP IT Cell.

I'm simply questioning what I'm seeing.

I don't see any such problem around me, nor do I see the masses around me discussing it as an issue of this magnitude. Yet, on social media, everything seems abnormal, and apparently, we're living in an emergency. 😂

Politics is always DIRTY Being pro-government is a disservice to the country

Being pro-government is a disservice to the country.

If you actually love this country and want it to improve, your job is to find problems and scream about them. Not to defend the people in power. You have to curse the government. You cannot love the government.

These are public servants. That’s the entire job description. Many of them make 10–12 lakhs a year and live in lavish bungalows. There is nothing selfless about it. They are doing a job, and like any other job, they should be judged by results.

If someone promised ten things and delivered three, you don’t make a god out of him. You hold him accountable for the seven he failed to deliver. That’s how it works everywhere else.

I’m a security engineer. If I am given ten tasks and I finish only five within the timeline, my manager doesn’t start worshipping me. He asks about the other five. That’s the standard. Why do we suddenly drop that standard the moment someone has “minister” or “leader” next to their name?

I genuinely don’t understand how people can be pro-government. Even if India somehow becomes Switzerland or Finland tomorrow, I still will not be pro-government. Because being pro-government means giving extra power and legitimacy to the people who already hold power over you. That is never a good idea. Power should always be questioned, never celebrated.

Critique the work. Demand the remaining seven. Stop making gods out of public servants.

😤 Rant / Vent Have u ever noticed women who call themselves feminists and show hate towards patriarchy defend those patriarchal rules which benefit them?

• Upvotes

Well whenever I question about the patriarchal rules that women are not eradicating, they start shaming me, or start their whataboutery

For example :- they hate being judge based on the past; they will call you insecure, a misogynist, and whatnot

But the same women will shame you whenever you question why most women seek a guy who earns more; they use such shaming tactics: "Do you have a gold to dig"?

They would not ask such questions to girls who complain day and night that men demand a lot during marriage. They ain't gonna ask a sister what your bank balance is? Because it doesn't suit their agenda

Similarly, they have a problem with Karwachauth, sindoor, and mangalsutra, but at the same time they expect men to pull most of the financial load, including dates, shopping, trips and honeymoons

If u dare to ask for the same treatment, they will call you a princess, lipstick laga le and all

Remember guys, they use shaming tactics to control your preferences. Never let them to control your preferences

Go for someone who don't have past relationships it's bare minimum which women should offer..

🪩 Looking for a Garba Partner/Group! 💃🕺

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m 23M Bangalore, and I’ve really been wanting to go out and play Garba, soak in the festive vibes, and have a good time this Navratri… but plot twist: none of my friends are interested 😭😂

Going solo feels a little awkward, so I thought I’d put this out here!

If you’re planning to go for Garba and wouldn’t mind an extra person joining your group, I’d love to tag along! 🫶

I’m just looking for some good vibes, fun people, a little dancing (even if my steps are questionable 😂), and some Navratri memories!

If you’re in a similar situation or your group is open to one more person, hit me up! Let’s make a plan. ✨

Bonus points if you’re also someone who wants to go but has no one to go with! 😂🤝

☕ Discussion What about forming a intelligence and knowledge group?

So I'm m21 from indore currently in btech 3rd year. Today I got a crazy idea. Currently I'm in electronics branch and have vlsi subject as interest and career option along with GATE and ESE.

But whenever I hear about AI ML or Solidworks, MATLAB, Devops etc not only them but psychology, mathematics, philosophy, neuroscience, finance, law, business and many more topics I got excited and curious as hell. But I don't have time to explore all the topics. I see insta reels about embedded, github repos, space technology, psychology and so many topics but I've no one to explain it in a way that someone learns the thing.

So I just decided to meet people individually (or form a community) where we can talk about everything as everyone has their own domain. Ik you'd say I can easily learn with claude or yt lectures or there are many platforms to learn things but as I said I'm in 3rd year and don't have much time to give it.

And kisi mahapurush ne kaha hai ki "ek samajhdaar vyakti se ek ghante baat krna 100 books padhne ke barabar hai."... So let me know if you're interested in random meetings and talking only about the subject you are interested in...
