Welcome to the Sample Status/Processing Megathread, also known as the Waiting, Whining, and Wishing thread. This monthly megathread (posted at the beginning of each month) allows you post your sample processing timelines, as well as to discuss and comment about any questions, concerns, or rants while you wait. Although not directly handled by 23andMe, shipping status may also be discussed in the thread. We recommend sorting the comments by "new" as this is a month long megathread.
You can share your sample status timeline here in one or two ways. The first way is to take a screenshot of your timeline, and post it as a comment. The second way is to simply copy and paste the start and completion dates for each step. Here is the text template:

I got a simulated coordinate out of my 23&me and FTDNA raw data and got this result without going for official G25 coordinates. Happy with the result.

I've got a bit of an interesting post for you guys. I am half Bulgarian Turk, half Kurdish-anatolian (?) but didn't expect this at all. Tell me what you think

Yesterday I got the results of my maternal aunt! I found the results to be quite accurate. She is Hungarian with links to Northern and Central Hungary. She did not get a genetic group for her Central Hungarian part but at least she has one for her Northern Hungarian heritage.
Her maternal haplogroup is U2e1 (in more detailed version: U2e1b1a, thanks to a test of mine)

The first one is hunter-gatherer & farmer result.
Actually I tried IllustrativeDNA almost a year ago but I wanted compare the result to other services' one. (If you want to see ID results, they are in my profile, previous post)
I think this one is pretty better than ID, but this costs little more expensive.
Also there was one more drawback using this service, this takes a long time to get the results report.
With ID, it was ready in 30 minutes, but this one took over two days.
Is there any Korean who used this service?

Today, I decided to long on 23andme and honestly wasn’t suspecting anything and I clicked historical matches and like usual I wasn’t suspecting nothing. But when I the screen loaded I got TWO New Histortical Matches. Whoo hoo! That really caught me by surprise. I had my 23andme results since December 2024 and I went almost two years with no other new historical matches until today. Yes!

Hello! I’m excited with my new match with Saint Ladislaus. It says I share 2 segments at 0.12%. This is in addition to other Hungarian Royal matches. I would like to explore this further but would like some advice. For context, I’m Slovene-Serbian and my father’s family name is Mamula. I believe Mamula might be the connection to the Hungarian matches.

Got a new historical match from Iceland. I share 5.15 centimorgans with him, my mother shares 4.94 centimorgans. This historical match comes from both parents not only after seeing the slightly bigger segment I share with him, but also because I inherited a similar segment from both parents on Chromosome 8 where this historical match and others from the Viking age are found.

I’m just asking this question, I’m not Haitian but I’m Togolese and I’m really curious for any Haitian on here that has taken the test do you have more ancestral DNA from Benin & Togo or Angola & Congo? I’m told that Haitians came from Benin but a lot of people say that most Haitians actually came from the Kongo Kingdom instead. Also I’ve met a lot of Haitians that look and sound Congolese but I’ve never seen a Haitian that looked or sound Beninese.
