I mean our industry was quite in fucked up state, because government god knows why likes to fuck them up by sucking dick to other countries.
Recently our success is PPZR Piorun manpads which was exported to: Ukraine, United States, Belgium, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Moldavia, Norway, Slovakia, Sweden.
We started being good in IFV/APC turrets, VSHORAD, IFVs, drones, artillery, radars, optoelectronics so we are going somewhere.

If anyone is curious about the huge spike, Norway changed their laws in regards to exports, which has been in place since 1959, allowing them to sell directly to Ukraine(and elsewhere I assume?). This together with rearmament because of Russia+Trump being Trump, has been a massive boost. This spike won't happen every year, 2024 is an outlier, but relaxing the export laws will fuel more growth within Norway's defense industry. Really positive for the Nordics, although it is of course sad whenever defense growth happens because people are dying, in Ukraine in this case.
Norway specialises in missiles, both surface and naval ones which are in extremely high demand throughout NATO and Ukraine right now. They also build air defense systems, which are also in even more extreme demand. They also build the Protector remote weapons system(which I myself used a lot in Afghanistan with Sweden), sold 20k units in 2024.
Nammo, which is HQd in Norway, is also producing ammunition at full throttle and expanding.

When it comes to defense industry, no doubt Sweden has the largest one in the Nordics, but Finland also has internationally recognized quality manufacturing, such as SAKO small-arms and Patria APCs.

It's gotten a bad rep because many people have used it as a weight loss drug
The way it acts is pretty revolutionary. It literally slows down your GI tract, making you less hungry and eat less. It's extremely useful for many diabetics and obese people, especially those who struggle to lose weight the "usual" way.
That said, many people see using a weight loss drug as a moral failure and as taking the "easy way out" and will shame people for using such a drug

It is, but they also produce Wegovy (same drug just different dosage) for weight loss. It's extremely popular in the US. I don't mind that obese Americans help fund our welfare state, pretty rad actually. The sales of these two drugs are literally visible on the Danish BNP, thanks America!
