Well if you’re not going to come and fight us at sea like a real man, we will have no choice but to let you fight a load of prussians and hanoverians

As a Hannoverian, I’m not sure how to feel about this… but it won’t stop us from defending Gibralter a second time.

Imagine going to war and your balls are not sweaty because you can wear a dope quilt

Fun fact: In the Trenches in WW1 Scottish soldiers who wore the kilt were scared of getting their bits nibbled on by rats.

Well I thought early ww1 French army was idiotic to field our soldiers in bright red pants and bright blue jackets… But fielding soldiers in kilts in the trenches takes the cake 😱

The kilts would get really really heavy with the rain too and soldiers would chafe bad!

Alone? Like in the Battle of Crécy in 1346, where English longbows disrupted Genoese crossbow mercenaries, which were then subsequently trampled by the charging French heavy chivalry because they got impatient (such allies) and saw them retreating lol

Hey at least we're not the idiots who decided it was a good idea to send a blind king into battle

This is not what the French did in the Trafalgar battle, indeed?

What do you expect? How can the French fight with allies, nobody likes them, they have no friends

Battle of Malplaquet be like.

But yeah, as the country that has fought alongside the Brits more than anyone else, we Dutch can confirm that the Brits are very ungrateful allies.

Grandad said the Dutch were always very happy to see RAF men in the late 40s and early 50s after the food missions..
