It's somewhat disturbing how life-like that is.

I don't know if I'm ready for my valley to be canny!

From a distance, yup thats Mike.
Op close, jesus christ that's a grape with herpes.

Haha, I was thinking to use a sander or something on it to 'post process' it. I think it would look much better up close.

Honestly I kind of wonder how light vapor smoothing would look, if it would smooth out and blend the colors even more

This is interesting, someone should test this.
It softens layerlines, so I imagine it would soften the color blend a bit as well.

We had a good thing, you stupid son of a bitch! We had one spool. One nozzle. One color. It all ran like clockwork. You could've shut your mouth, hit print and made as many parts as you ever needed. It was perfect. But, no, you just had to blow it up. You and your pride and your ego! You just had to make it multicolor. You just had to be the artist. If you'd done your job, known your place, we'd all be printing in plain gray right now.

Now figure out how to get me a lifesized grogu that looks decent for my Mandalorian costume this year because everything I've attempted looks awful (no color is right) and I have no skills to paint anything that's more than one color

PM me the model in any format (with textures / colors), and I will print a small one to show you how good I can make it look! :)

It'd be amazing as a stress ball if it was printed in TPU.

1

u/GravyPoo 1d ago

Omg that's a cool idea! A stress ball in the shape of your favorite celebrity! Or even better - your spouse! Now I need to look for translucent CMYK TPU...

I don't know who that is but for some reason I'm headed to the equipment room for gloves and a lift belt, on the double.
