My orientation is on Tuesday!! Any tips/ advice and what to expect? What should i wear? Am i going to actually working or just shadowing? Etc. my manager isn’t the best at communicating and has given me literally no info on any of this 😭

The first day of training usually starts with a rundown of the employee handbook and general policies. Then, you’ll learn to pull shots and the general process of making a drink. Then the trainer will make the “original seven” (7 most popular drinks that are the always on the main menu) with you. You’ll most likely be given your three 7brew shirts that day, but for your first day a plain t shirt and jeans is a good go to. They’re kind of weird about things like yoga pants and sweatpants in the dress code (they don’t like cotton bottoms or specific athletic materials), but it’s not the end of the world on your first day since they haven’t told you the dress code yet.
Every stand is different, and things like how many people you’re training with, who’s training you, and whether it’s a new or existing stand, will change certain aspects. However, there is a training guide that they’re **supposed** to stick to that pretty specifically lays out what each day of training is comprised of, so this should at least generally prepare you.

Ask questions! Ask a million questions. Ask questions even if you think they're stupid. I always appreciate when a trainee is asking questions and being engaged.
