Other 80s alternative songs with the same title are also performed by Echo & The Bunnymen and Erasure.

Great choice.

'Goodbye Jumbo' remains one of my favourite albums. 'Is it like today' one of my favourite tunes.

RIP Kurt.

"We're setting sail to the place on the map... From which no one has ever returned."

Karl Wallinger (R.I.P.) and Roland Orzabal have very similar voices and songwriting styles - I could totally hear this in Roland's voice as a huge hit for Tears For Fears.

Still timely: “Avarice and greed are gonna drive you over the endless sea and leave you drifting in the shadows”

An old mate of mine was their keyboard player for a while. Not seen him in donkey's years but I did notice his name was on the credits for the Karl Wallinger celebratory gig later this year. https://www.worldparty.net

I got to see them once or twice (free, courtesy of aforementioned mate) & they were great live.
