Did you play Gauntlet, the Arcade game from 1985?

About teenagers and adults in the '80s
Not too long ago I read a comment about how it was common to see teenagers and adults hang out together (I believe the commenter recalled it from his youth in NYC). Was this dynamic common in the 1980s, and even the 1970s? Today, I find that many people find these friendships strange or discourage them. What are your experiences? Thoughts?
Thanks!

My brain still thinks I can do a rad BMX trick. My body says no.

I had to teach both my parents and my kids how to use a VCR. Ours was the first--and last--generation that intuitively understood them.
