His voice is so measured but he has that wild, animal look in his eyes. Pure terror, but he’s masking it.

My thoughts too. He is very well spoken and clear-headed, but you can see in his eyes that he is petrified.

Does anybody remember how the first few minutes people thought it could be a movie? You even hear some early witness and street commentary of people saying the same thing. Even though you saw it in front of your face, there was still the ‘is this a movie’ question. It was just that unbelievable.

I was pulling into my school parking lot when the radio started discussing it. At least in Des Moines, Iowa, our hosts even questioned if it was a movie. Then the second plane hit, of course, and things became very different.
