Someone's going to have to explain to me why a modified 73 Impala that needs a new paint job is worth $2,500,000.00.

In the video which is a repost, the driver says he has it insured for 250K. OP of the video is clearly trying to get views

Gotcha, even 250k is a ridiculous ask.

As someone into cars, when you get into really expensive, really rare, and one of a kind cars it's normal for insurance to only insure a portion of the value, it doesn't necessarily mean the car is only worth 250k. Also, auto insurance generally covers all of your modifications, (that's why you see people with heavily modified cars commit insurance fraud to get the full value out of the car because no one is necessarily going to pay that for your build), in this case I'd imagine that would include all of the historical artifacts used to build the car with.

I would assume most of the value would be labor and the historical items, which I assume, would be going up in value with or without the car.

This would make a nice daily driver if you respray it white, put some new rims on it and throw in some real floor mats
