Göteborg: Waters of the Western Port Cassette 41:03 min / Limited Edition of 50 – Cloth Bag With Individually Numbered Metal Tag & Mooring Line

Exlibris Nordén presents Waters of the Western Port, built from field recordings gathered across Gothenburg. From the fog-filled waterfronts of Smitska Udden to the lantern-lit waters of Lilla Bommen. Through industrial passages and submerged water tunnels to the forgotten waters of the outer islands. A documentary of a living landscape turned into an echo.

This is an excerpt from take 5 of the piece "Natura Naturata" from our upcoming LP, "The God Intoxicated Man," a record inspired by the life and thinking of Baruch Spinoza.

Our music is long format, drone based, and focuses on the interplay of frequencies and sound played at extremely high volumes. All of our recordings are live, focusing on the spontaneity and magic that is only found in that format, as no two takes are ever the same.

Our other records can be found here: The Tower, The Temple - Bandcamp

Check us out on Instagram as well: The Tower, The Temple - IG

"The God Intoxicated Man" will be released soon on streaming platforms as well as a vinyl release, and we'll be announcing a few shows to kick off 2027.

Be good out there, Love is the law.

“My atheism, like that of Spinoza, is true Piety  toward the Universe and denies only gods fashioned by men in their own image, to be servants of human interests.”

— George Santayana

Hey everyone!

I'm using Ableton and I'm trying to achieve a fuller, thicker, and more textured delay sound, similar to the one in the attached track.

I have a guitar track with a Delay effect on a Return Track, and I want the delayed signal to have its own character and sound much fuller, wider, and richer than the original dry guitar.

I've attached a music example to show the kind of sound I'm aiming for.

Any tips on the effects chain and specific settings would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Upon this cold and aggregate expanse,
A history is written, etched by chance.
The grey, a memory of a harder stone,
Is fading now, its core is being known.

A ghost of a movement, a passage of light,
Is marked in these smears, so pale and so white.
Like frost upon a window, or a spirit's embrace,
Erosion’s fine finger has left this faint trace.

Scattered among the pale, the twigs and the dry leaves,
Are reminders of life that the ground still receives.
The passage of seasons, the touch of the sun,
Have broken and polished, till many are one.

This texture is silence, a story of wear,
A poem of patience, hanging in the air.
Not empty, but full of the moments that passed,
A fleeting impression, designed not to last.

Look closer, and see what the elements know:
In every worn surface, new patterns can grow.
A landscape in miniature, weathered and grey,
Where time leaves its footprint, and then fades away.

Hi all! Hope this collection of dark ambience will set you in a mood for strolling imaginary post-apocalyptic landscapes

Headphones recommended, thanks for listening.

-NO AI-

1 hour of calm ambient music for relaxation and sleep, accompanied by beautiful aerial footage of cities across the united states.

A very experimental session and some try-outs for a project I might work for in the near future. I got a piece of gypsum with a piezo-mic inside. Connecting it to the 1010 Bluebox and feeding it into the Soma Lyra8-FX is pure magic.

I really wanted to create the playlist of texture-driven atmopsheric music that will be not yet another "music for relaxation". So here is my collection of bold and experimental electronic music by genre pioneers and outsiders. Hope you enjoy

A relaxing futuristic ambient inspired by the aesthetics of Frutiger Aero.

The artwork and music are made by me ;)

I'm pretty new to this, but I wanted to make something personal to me- sort of a concept album, definitely nature inspired. Any feedback is appreciated.
