BTW, in the default "4. AY-3-8912 Chiptune Lab" project there's a line ENV 1, 10, 5, 20, -2, 10, 30 which throws an invalid argument. The problem is the -2 value, but I don't remember the ENV syntax enough to tell you why it's invalid.

According to the hovercars (cool feature BTW), it's

ENV 1, ' Envelope Volume #1 10, 5, 20, ' 10 steps of +5 with a 0.2 seconds pause (duration really) -2, 10, 30 ' -2 steps (that's not right!) of +10 with a .3 seconds pause

I think line 20 should be ENV 1, 10, 5, 20, 2, -10, 30 but I'm not 100% sure of the intent.
