I am looking for an app or setting that will function like do not disturb except allow certain contacts phone calls and WhatsApp calls to still come through.

I know the standard do not disturb allows you to set favorite contacts phone calls to come through. But it blocks WhatsApp calls. Most of my close friends and family use WhatsApp calls so I want that to be able to come through at night, but dont want my WhatsApp messages to come though.

I read about Buzzkill which sounds like it might work but I am not sure. The app seems quite cheap so I might get it to try it out and see. But thought I would see if anyone has an recommendations first.

I have my aadhar app installed on my phone but whenever i try to use it, it just restarts immediately and shows an error saying it detected security violation..

I have developer option turned off, play store says device is certified, play protect is on, device is not rooted/ bootloader is not unlocked.

I m using poco x7 5g phone running hyperos 3.1

I have quite a lot of albums downloaded and scrolling through all of them can be pretty annoying trying to find the one I'm looking for, so I was wondering are there music players out there they have big grid type layouts? I use musicolet and their limit is 5 columns so I'd prefer to find an app that offers more, like 6+ columns so it's less scrolling.

I'm wondering how to configure my phone from something I'm always having to look at into something that reads me notifications, interests, does my browsing for me, shopping etc. Automatically.

The goal being my primary way of interacting with it is when it tells me about an interest, topic, notification, alert or otherwise happens.

At most maybe the transcribed text on the screen or the results of a query or task.

I know this isn't far off with AI and probably will the the main way we interact with devices years from now.

But I'm personally tired of always having to look at these devices and would like to maybe rush things along if possible.

How would you go about setting up this function?

I'm only looking for apps with FLOSS licenses. Currently, I have a few options: Aegis Authenticator, 2FA Authenticator (2FAS), FreeOTP, and Proton Authenticator. I don't need online synchronization.

Have some issues with Instagram for a long period of time. In my country when you open Instagram, there some stories/reel/video with audio or song, that is not available in my country. How can i fix it? Is there any legal ways to do that? Because of a song that is not allowed to be played, there is no sound in video, and it was so annoying

So playstore just F-ed up my phone. I had "disable upgrades" set and manually updated them when needed. But it decided to ignore and flip the setting, upgraded apps, to newer bloated, adware filled versions.

I want to block it from having internet access without my authorization, or preferable not being able to do anything at all.

At the same time it would make sense to block other apps, that don't need internet for their functioning.

And also block ads. Because I think these two things might conflict if done by different apps. Because they're rather related stuff.

I don't have my phone rooted, because that would require wiping everything...

My current alarm app recently stopped being reliable, failing to go off the last two mornings and causing me to wake up late. The developer hasn't updated it in months, so I imagine that some android update broke it.

What is a good alarm app? I don't have many needs, just need it to play custom alarm sounds from files on my phone.

Many of my friends use iPhone and they all have Dazzcam.I downloaded Fomz as well. There are actually a lot of free cameras, but after using it for a while, I realized that they are all similar to each other and don't give that cool Dazzcam effect.I downloaded proccd for a while and it annoyed me that only 5 or 6 cameras were given for free and everything else was paid.If you could recommend an application that offers as many free features as possible, what would it be? The option is Google Password Manager > Settings > Import passwords and passkeys.

You'll confirm with your phone's screen lock before choosing the source manager.

Sign in there and approve the export.

For passkeys, you may also need a recovery key.

I read somewhere that the devs of Nova Launcher sold it to a shady company, that will now probably spy and use the privileges this kind of app have to mine our data, so I want to get rid of it, without losing the comfort it has.

Hi guys, I'm looking for an app that can automatically block or silence notifications from my WhatsApp and messages between 6 PM and 9 AM every day. I prefer to not bring work to my home.

Ideally, it should let me customize which apps' notifications are blocked, rather than applying a blanket DND mode. FOSS or open-source apps are preferred, and I'm fine with apps that require Shizuku or ADB permissions.

I've tried a few notification-filtering apps, but haven't found one that reliably does this. Any recommendations?

I'm currently using The Musicolet Music Player App For Android but The Album Artwork Isn't big enough for me. The Musicolet Album Artwork/Grid Layout Limit is only 5. So I'd prefer to find an app that offers a lot more. If I could some suggestions I would really appreciate it. I like my Album Artwork to be as Big and as Huge as possible.
