What to Buy? Washer dryer set
Currently have an LG stacked set that came with the house five years ago that the control panel on the washer periodically fails and need to unplug it to reset. Each time thinking it’s finally kicked the bucket.
Luckily we got it working again but I’m tired of it.
We have a king sized bed so something large enough to cover the comforters would be best.
I don’t want to have the machines connected to an app or internet, just want to clean my clothes and have sanitize cycles for when my kids inevitably bring home stomach bugs.
No brand preference, not against single washer dryer combo either if they actually do the job well.
Anticipating a budget of $2k USD

I'd look at the Electrolux 600 series. That's actually what I'm planning to buy myself. It's got a sanitize cycle, plenty of room for most king-size comforters, and no Wi-Fi or app nonsense. What really sold me on it is SmartBoost, which mixes the detergent with water before washing, and LuxCare Plus, which keeps circulating wash water over the clothes. I'd stick with a separate washer and dryer rather than a combo. You should be able to get the matching set for around your $2,000 budget, less if you catch a sale.
